Mombasa city is currently the second biggest city in Kenya both in population, infrastructure, economic output and size, it the biggest in the coastal region and the headquarters of both the county and the region, it is the oldest city in Kenya for it started long time ago as a trade center.
The city is very popular due to it's attractive beaches and world class hotels which attracts huge numbers of tourists from all over the world.
It holds the biggest port in East Africa. Mombasa is currently undergoing massive development especially in infrustructure under both the national government and the county government.
