To be fair dar has slums too. Much more in area than nairobi. they are known as informal settlements magomeni kipawa ukonga monogoro mwanagati karakata kiondoni etc both nai and dar have their good and bad areas.

There are large areas like upanga Kipawa wards and several that i can't post.they have been posted. but above all making fun of poor people is unethical. Instead we should be looking for solutions for slums.

The point you're missing is this... Dar doesn't scream to the world, "I'm this! or that!". But when people in the diaspora happen to get a taste of it, they never wanna leave.

It's not just how massive and clean the city is, but its culture, the people, the language and (of course) the food, its healing energy and and how much the dollar can stretch far and wide. They are surprised to learn, they can afford to live in mansions full of different fruit trees and a walking distance to the beach. And the fact that they can have a "dada wa kazi" and mlinzi, makes the whole experience supa dupa fly, and these are just regular folks.

Lastly, we speak in a soft rhythmic voice, it's very hypnotic to the ear and Tanzanians in general are very polite people. These are few reasons that make our city stands out.
