It is sad that the forum is degenerating into a stinking den, I know tempers must fly sometimes and there is no way to herd cats, but some self restrain is in order. If not, a small dose of right censorship will be justified.
On the matter of English, I have to differ. JF should be a place of high standards, especially when it comes to people who should know.Like MPs who voluntaliry choose to write in English, and their reputed policy wonks. If you present yourself as a wonk, to draw parallel and precedent from Nyerere and the history of Biafra, in English, the very least we expect from you should be the correct usage of that language.
Of course if my dear old friend Brazameni is coming to post some pictures of honies from his weekly clubbing rounds (where my son @) one would look absurd to even expect my man, who doesn't want anything to do with intellectuals and their pursuit, whose dreams are only the sands of Copa Cabana and Ipanema, the almighty greenback and its blue book, to be grammatically correct.
Kutumia lugha fasihi na sarufi inayotakiwa ni muhimu, ni sehemu ya usomi. Hatutaki kutetea ungumbaru hapa.
Hawa hawa wabunge ndio wale wale kesho watasema "Nilikuwa nasoma "Wall Street Journal"....." napata mashaka sasa kama wakisoma wanaelewa hata kuelewa.
C'mon son, "Why did Nyerere supported ?", for real ?
