Birds of feather flock together! I have, for a heck of long time, been in a stiff interaction with mediocre teachers like you. They are actually good complainers but generally with no, what I call modality. They often complain of others than helping them to reach a goal of target, they are indeed boreful! What I say is: how far do these complainers stand as a symbol for the accused? The complainers in this context are the people like you, and the accussed are those people, perhaps your co-workers and the headmaster altogether.
The school headmaster has never stood before students to host English announcements, as you say. Teachers in the same department you work for are also incompetent in this bussiness language, all you have said and of course no one can even doubt for this. The only thought you have in your head is your CV to be spoilt, I do not know in which sense. The only one who can spoil your CV is yourself Mr teacher. There are two types of people in this very imperfect world: the people who think that are saints, but are sinners and those who think they are sinners, but are saints. Which group Mr Teacher do you think you fit to belong to?
I met a teacher of your sort complaining tiredlessly that, his fellow teachers are not familiar with English languge that him. I asked him a very simple question jokingly two days later. Swali lilikuwa ni hivi, "...mwalimu, hivi kuna tense aina ngapi?...". Do you know the answer this teacher gave me? He said there are three types of tense: present tense, past tense and future tense. I hope even you Mr Teacher can give me the same answer na kama nakuonea niambie!!. What I did then was to listen his speech everytime he opened his mouth to speak and I indeed acted as a language puritan. The results I found were that, even this teacher was not good in this sailed language, he spoke a kind of English full of dualities, for instance, instead of saying, "...students wanted to attend a parade...", the man preffered, "...students they prefered to attend the parade...". I then turned and wept upon myself that, kumbe hata mshikaji naye alikuwa mburula mzuri kwenye lugha aliyodai anaijua kama wewe unavyodai. KIUKWELI HUJANIFURAHISHA NA MADAI YAKO YA AJABU KABISA.
Find a modus operand instead of complaining bhana, kuwa muungwana.
