he has remained unchanged, I will brief you tomorrow on the developments. he obeserved.
Minister for Home Affairs Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi who visited Manumba at the hospital yesterday was reluctant to comment on the DCIs health condition.
When queried by eager media personnel on whether he had been able to talk to him, Nchimbi replied: Please dont ask me thus far
I cannot speak about his condition because Im not a doctor.
Others who visited the DCI were Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Sadick Meck Sadick and the Deputy Minister for Home Affairs, Pereira Ame Silima. Previous reports suggested that the Vice-President, Mohamed Gharib Bilal would visit but did not appear by the time this reporter left the hospital.
A score of Manumbas relatives kept vigil at the hospital, most of whom had not spoken to him he was rushed to hospital early this week.
Manumba was appointed DCI early in 2006 after President Kikwete came to power late in 2005. Prior to that, he served for years as an assistant DCI to Adadi Rajabu, currently High Commissioner to Zimbabwe.
