I said DM needs 3 seasons for pundits to judge him...he needs to have his own players in a team....that should start next summer...bringing two CBs and CMs and a LB would do good for the team to in fighting for a top 3 finish....in his 3rd season, then he should have about 7 to 8 'players of his own' to fight for the title.....
OTH, a complete overhaul is possible...just look what Maureen and Mancini did:

Ferreira, Cech, Robben, Kezman, Drogba, Tiago, Carvalho, Jarosik and Morais. Now, say again that Ranieri paved the way for Maureen.
Now let us talk Shitty. I think you know that Mancini was hired as a Shitty boss in December 2009. Almost mid-season, after Hughes was sacked. So in his first half year, he had only Vieira and Adam Johnson as his signings. But in the season 2010-11, literally, his first season in charge of things at Shitty, Mancini did this:
Players out, 8, including Benjani, Petrov, Silvinho, Ireland, Etuhu, Robinho and Garrido. Players in, 7, including, Toure, Silva, Balotelli, Milner, Dzeko, Kolarov and Boateng. Mancini had also loaned out 12 players including Adebayor, Santa Cruz, W. Bridge, Bellamy etc...
Now say it again that Maureen and Mancini didn't go for a complete overhaul....
