Form guide: United began the new Barclays Premier League season by recording a hugely impressive
4-1 win over Swansea City last weekend, a match that had been earmarked as a potential banana skin for the champions. That triumph was preceded by a
2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic in the FA Community Shield at Wembley. Chelsea have also got off to an encouraging start, beating Hull City 2-0 at Stamford Bridge before sealing another home win over Aston Villa on Wednesday. The latter was rearranged for midweek because of the Blues involvement in the UEFA Super Cup.
Ins and outs: Rafael's suspension, which was earned via a sending off against Chelsea last term, is now over but the Brazilian remains unavailable through injury. Wayne Rooney could start following his cameo in Wales last time out, though Ashley Young (ankle), Nani (groin) and Chicharito (hamstring) are all likely to miss out. Meanwhile, David Luiz is a doubt for Chelsea, who are also without Thomas Kalas.

Rooney could face Chelsea
David Moyes says Wayne Rooney has a "good chance" of starting Monday's match against Chelsea.The striker came on in the second half of the Reds' opening day win at Swansea last weekend having been hampered by hamstring and shoulder injuries during pre-season. Moyes confirmed Rooney had recovered from the minor knock he picked up during his run-out at the Liberty Stadium and could be a starter against Jose Mourinho's men at Old Trafford.
"Wayne's got a good chance of playing. He has good chance of starting," the manager told reporters on Friday.
The Scot added that he is relishing taking charge of the Reds for the first time in a league game at the Theatre of Dreams. "There has been a lot of things I have been looking forward to - like taking the team on tour and leading them out at Wembley. But to do it at Old Trafford for the first game against Chelsea is a thrill for me, it really is," he said.
"It would have been [a thrill], no matter who we were playing. It is just part of my job though and once you do it, you get on and do your job. It is a great honour to be manager of Manchester United. I don't know anybody who wouldn't want to be in this position."
