Being the best Player in a club doesn't make you a Legend of the Club. This is what most Football fans don't understand.

A legend is more than just being the best, it is more of Loyalty and sticking with the Club both in thick and thin.



There's no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely be one of the best ever Player who wore the Manchester United shirt but should he really be considered a Legend?

Was Ronaldo really loyal to the Club that brought him to limelight?

When you answer some of these Questions, you will realise that Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't deserve to be called a Legend and here's why.



Man United signed the Portuguese in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon after Sir Alex Ferguson showed so much admiration for him in a friendly match.

Ronaldo was loved by not just the fans but also his teammates because of the way he plays and how much confidence he exhumes at such a young age.

Man United only enjoyed the Portuguese Superstar for just three seasons out of the six he spent at the club because he was very inexperienced in his early years.

The time when he was needed most was when he left the Club for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo left Man United at the age of 23, which is the age where Players are at their best during their Football career.



If truly Ronaldo put Man United in his heart or have so much love for Man United, he wouldn't leave the club at the most Prolific moment of his career.

Calling him a legend is more like an insult to the real legends who gave their all to the Club, who were always there for the Club, who truly supported the club until they could give little or nothing.



If you call Cristiano Ronaldo a Man United Legend, what will you then call the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Wayne Rooney, John Oshea, David De Gea, Valencia, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and a whole lot of other Players?

Think about it as well, then you will realise that Ronaldo was only a Player who was the best during his time at Manchester United but is never a Legend of the Club.
