THE FSG CURSE.

Man, imekuwa exactly 11 years tangu FSG wanunue LFC.

Looking back tangu 2010, kumekuwa na ups & downs, i cant lie 2018-2020 will remain kuwa one of the best years kwenye LFC history, and you cant leave FSG out of those moments, they hired Klopp who went on to win us multiple trophies (big trophies), but does that make them owners wazuri? personally i'd say NO.

WHY?

Man, we cant act like FSG didnt win the lottery with Klopp, ilikuwa ni jackpot kubwa sana, Klopp changed everything at LFC, gave us the whole new direction, gave us new lives as supporters, before Klopp, FSG had only one trophy kwenye CV yao ya LFC, ilikuwa ni Carabao Cup (Carling Cup back then), but after 11 years at the Club, FSG wana 5 trophies, ambapo if tukiwa real ni trophies mbili tu ambazo zinaweza kuwa counted as legit trophies, nazo ni PL & CL, so kwa logic hii its safe to say kuwa ndani ya 11 years FSG wana two legit trophies, na zote zimepatikana chini ya KLOPP, so hii inaonesha kuwa Klopp ana uwezo wa kuendelea kuleta big trophies nyingine kama akiwa backed vizuri, its not a secret kuwa tangu 2019 FSG wamenunua 4-5 senior players (Adrian, Minamino, Jota, Thiago, Tsimikas), this is not good for a title winning team, zaidi ya Jota/Tsimikas & Thiago, you cant count on Minamino & Adrian for PL & CL games, on top of that the club iliacha our most durable midfielder (Wijnaldum) kuondoka bila replacement yeyote, serious owners hawawezi kufanya kitu kama hiki, its a well known fact kuwa Thiago & Keita ni injury prones, Hendo pia ana tatizo la injuries za mara kwa mara, our fittest MF ni Fabinho ambaye nae ana-miss numbers of games kwasababu ya musicle injuries za mara kwa mara, Elliot injury was unfortunate, Jones is good addition but not good enough as a starting MF, we cant count on Oxlade and Milner at all, so in reality Klopp ana 2 realiable senior MFs ambao wanaweza kucheza kwa zaidi ya games 10-15 bila setbcaks (Fabinho & Hendo), and we all know Hendo ana-struggle a lot this season, he's struggling as a RW, because his pace is gone, injuries ime-take its nature kwenye mwili wake, he's not the same anymore kwa mchezaji ambaye his strength was pace & covering a lot of ground, anatakiwa ku-sit now as a 6 or as a second feeder kwenye 8 role behind the front 3, hawez kuperform as RW now because anatakiwa kum-cover Trent & Fab na ku-move the ball forward when we attack in numbers, anashindwa now because of lack of pace, ndiyo maana team zinatu-cut wide open kwenye MF, because hakuna support kwa our 6, going forward Hendo alitakiwa awe back-up ya Fabinho now at 6, but lack of depth & injuries zinafanya Klopp aendelee na Hendo as RW kitu ambacho kina-cost flow ya team nzima, and its not Hendo or Klopp fault, its FSG's fault, Our MF is so bad in numbers, We should've replaced Wijnaldum our most durable and injury free midfielder, Bissouma, Neuhaus, Zakaria, Wirtz etc were there for the taking, but apparently 40-45m was too big for FSG, forced Klopp to bank on his injury prone MF for the entire season, you see now, Klopp structured his MF around Keita, he modified the Gini role and hand it to Keita ambaye amefanye vizuri sana this season (our best MF this season), but can you rely on Keita? he cant even be fit for 4 straight games, can blame Klopp for banking his MF on Keita? now Thiago karudi, but he was scared to start him against West Ham akiiogopa ataumia few days baada ya ku-recover baada ya kukuguswa kidogo tu pembeni ya shin-pads, we lost the West Ham game kwasababu ya MF set-up, we had no control, Fabinho was on his own kwenye MF, Hendo was so slow kwenye ku-cover spaces behind Trent & Fabinho, and he couldnt even link the ball well kwa Salah, well it was bound to happen, Klopp was prepared to reduce some minutes kwa Hendo hasa kwenye small games kwa kumuanzisha Elliot, na kwa bahati mbaya Elliot akaumia, now he's forced to continue with Hendo ambaye nadhani naye si muda ata-break down, Hendo cant play as a RW now, yes he's still 31 but his heel-injuries & few hamstrings zimechukua pace & his physical attributes, time to change his roles now, na angetusaidia sana as a second 8 feeder because his passing game is quite good, but we have no option at all, because our owners wanafikiria kuwa Klopp ataendelea kufanya miracles kwenye hii ageing & injury riden squad.

LFC have made millions over the past few years, we are now one of the most valuable clubs on earth, with good revenues, but kisingizio cha FSG kila siku ni ku-expand uwanja, but what about winning trophies? top four finish is not good enough when you have a world class coach, a world class Keeeper, a world class CB, a world class RB, a world class DM, and the best player in the world right now, these Coach & players need new faces to keep it going, they need new blood, you see we bought Konate, that was year later to replace Lovren, and tuliona crisis ya CB area ilivyoharibu msimu wetu last year, but it took months for FSG ku-react na ni baada ya kuuza players kama Shaqiri etc, this is not how club inatakiwa kuendeshwa, now kuna ishu ya mkataba ya Salah, what stopping them kumpa Salah new contract? We're going toe to toe with City & Chelsea because of Klopp, we doing good kwenye CL now because of Klopp, but tungekuwa mbali sana as a team kama tungekuwa na serious owners, now we need to pray Keita & Thiago angalau wacheze 20 games msimu huu, na kuombea mtoto wa miaka 18 arudi ili aboost our MF, wakati ilihitajika signing moja tu kwenye eneo la kiungo kuepusha yote haya, FSG need to sell this club, we have outgrown them.

I've read about Shankly and Paisley, but for me, Klopp is LFC greatest Manager, theres no way Shankly & Paisely wouldve won PL with 90+ points mbele ya Spending gurus and most structured and well run clubs like City & Chelsea, NO WAY, you've got Utd paying 500k p/w kwa a 36 old player, spending 80m on Sancho and not even stressing kwa lack ya his impact, but Klopp beat them 5-0 without Fabinho, Mane and Thiago, and bench lenye Minamino, Ox etc, he's the best ever for me, and i want him to leave with a good legacy, and unfortunately in football legacy is judged with number of trophies and 2 legit trophies in 9 years wont be a good thing or good legacy.

Think...15 years ago, millions of school kids started supporting Liverpool because of Steven Gerrard. That whole generation has now grown up and having millions of children who will soon be Liverpool supporters.

Gerrard is the singular reason why these 2 generations are LFC fans. The club wasn't winning anything 15 years ago and as school kids, most of these people were too young to be attracted by the Liverpool philosophy. It was all about Gerrard and then he taught us what Liverpool is. If Stevie G went to Chelsea or Madrid, there wouldn't be a lot of LFC supporters in this generation and we probably wouldn't be here in this moment, with this amazing team today. We would probably be a midtable club riddled with debt.

This was the impact of Steven Gerrard. We need to stop judging individual players by trophies because this is a team sport. If you look at pure individual impact, Stevie G might be the most consequential player in the last 25 years. A multi-generation defining Football hero.
