the downside of our present midfield is lack of goals, granted...on that we're on the same page.
but on the flipside, the dark artists in this department at present are actually the soul of our defensive prowess. without them, we would be leaking goals left right and centre - which we'll the moment we attempt to mess around with the existing structure. because of this same structure we lost only 2 EPL games over the last 2 seasons (am not counting those games we lost after being crowned champs). that's why am scared kuitibua hii midfield ya sasa. midfield creativity is fine but remember we had it with Cou and you know what we went through - scoring goals aplenty but leaking in equal measure due to lack of solidity in this department!
the way I see it Takumi will remain a squad player at least for one more season. industrious but not polished.
