Eight games in, and i'm here talking about the League title.
To be honest, wasnt expecting us to put up a strong challenge this season, i knew we'd challenge, but not to that extent.
Pep Guardiola, ashawahi kusema kuwa, League titles are won in the first EIGHT games & last EIGHT games. akimaanisha kwamba perfection & execution ya kwenye games NANE za kwanza na za mwisho ndio zinakutengenezea njia nyepesi ya kuchukua league.
So, mpaka sasa, we've perfected these first EIGHT games, with no L or D, whilst Pep's City have dropped 8 points, 2 Ls and 1 D. and if we're being true to ourselves, nobody saw it coming..
City have lost their very own VVD, na matatizo/gaps zinaonekana wazi kabisa, no unity/leadership/shape kwenye their backline, Ferna been good as a cover, but Otamendi (i'd say he's worse than Lovren/Mustafi/Keane etc), not helping him/the team at all, that Wolves first goal sums him up as a defender, Lovren is shit but not to that level (lol).
So what can we do now?
I'd say, we need to use this chance to widening the gap even more! because WOLVES MATCH-REACTION aside, if we'll enter jan-feb with 8-point gap (or less), then there's a bigger chance we will bottle the title again, as January will be a tough period for us, and could see us dropping a lot of points, & maybe Laporte atakuwa amerudi, one thing tunachotakiwa kujua ni kuwa, KDB yupo kwenye form ya hatari sana this season, so kama Laporte atarudi & with this firing KDB, then Jan-feb could get messier, kama gap itakuwa ni 8 points (or less).
So the Key ya kuongeza gap ni at Utd/Aston Villa & Anfield against City. nasema at Utd, because City will be playing away at Crystal Palace, kwenye same weekend, and kwa matatizo yao at the back, i think the game could go both ways, so us winning at Trafford will be a big boost kwenye table & will send a huge statement kwenye league.
I'm not worried that much about Spurs, but i think Aston Villa away ni very tricky fixture, hope it wont happen, but i think tunaweza ku-drop point(s), kwenye hizi games tatu zinazokuja (Utd/Spurs/Aston Villa), especially Utd & Villa, oh! Yes still worried about Utd, its a derby (biggest derby in the world), anything can happen, ukichukulia tutakuwa away, and hatujawafunga OT tangu 2014 nadhani, and kwa kumjua Klopp, he'll field a defensive team there for a draw or a tactical win.
But, again kama ikitokea tuka-drop points, it will be just fine, KAMA tukimfunga City at home. and this is the main key point, we can talk about point(s) gaps/wins etc all we like, but the Key to the title is BEATING our main competitor, City literally won the league last seaon kwa kutufunga kwao na ku-draw at Anfield, we need to beat them at Anfield, those 3 points could prove to be so decisive may, next year. we have no excuses now, City will come at Anfield with Otamendi/stones and a DM at the back, not saying it will be easy, but its so winnable now, City are missing the compactness of Ferna in the middle (as he's covering upande wa CB) & leadership of Laporte at the back, we need to beat them.
There should be No excuses.
