FIRMINO OUT
Roberto Firmino has been left out of Liverpool's squad for their Friday Night Football clash against Huddersfield, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is included.

Firmino is replaced up front by Daniel Sturridge - making his first Premier League start since December 5 - while Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the bench, having not played for the first team since suffering a knee injury against Roma on April 24, 2018.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Keita, Henderson; Salah, Mane, Sturridge

Subs: Mignolet, Milner, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Shaqiri, Origi, Matip

little muscle issue’

Jurgen Klopp has just spoken abt Firmino to Sky Sports ahead of tonight’s clash and confirmed Roberto Firmino’s absence.

The German tactician says ‘it’s a small muscle issue’ and didn’t think it was anything too serious. Case closed.

"Yesterday after training he mentioned a little muscle injury. It’s not a big thing but enough to leave him out today,” Klopp said.
