Naona unakwepa ukweli, na nilitegemea hivi kwa sababu wewe uko rigid na unachokijua kuhusu football formations. Kama nilivyosema mwanzoni formations are just arrangement of players in the pitch. Falsafa ya kocha ndio itaamua awatumieje. The same formation makocha tofauti matumizi tofauti kulingana na strategies, tactics and techniques including defensive, possessive and offensive plans of the coach. Wote hawa watano ni midfielders with different responsibilities depending on manager plans, na hapa ataweka shape kulingana na anataka kuwa tumiaje. Anaweza kuwatumia kama defensive midfielders, central midfielders, attacking midfielders etc
Lol
again, this shows how far behind upo kuhusu Formations and Shape..
The thing is, you dont understand how formations and Shapes works in Footie,,
if a manager wants to play a passive/offensive football, he'll go with the formation that suits that kind of football..
if a manager wants to play a defensive footie, he will go with the formation that suits that kind of football..
if a manager wants to play a combative footie with quick transition, he will go with 4-3-3, and he will choose players who are suitable to that formation..
if a manager wants to play a core-defensive footie with better attacking combinations, he will go with 4-4-2, and deploy a destroyer and Creative mid to combine in the middle.
if a manager wants to play a very cohesive defensive footie with combustive pace on either flanks, he will go with 4-5-1 and deploy a ball winner in the mid with pace LM and RM, with 2 pace wingers on either flanks..
Again, each formation has its mandatory shape, you cant deploy 4-3-3 and play with a V or hexagon shape dude..
for a manager to want to use a V shape he must deploy a 4-5-1 shape and not otherwise, for manager to want to deploy a Diamond shape he must play a 4-4-2 and not otherwise
each formation varies with a compact shape, shapes varies according to certain formation..
and, again formations are not just arrangements on the pitch, because in order to prevent a Klopp's pressing game, an opponent manager will come up with a formation to resist the press eg. 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1, if they were just arrangements then point ya technical side ingekuwa ipi?
Again, no matter what formation or shape unayocheza, hakuna kitu kinaitwa "wachezaji wanageuka kuwa "viungo' kutokana na roles" (this is nonsense),
4-5-1, ni formation inayocheza na lone strong DM, with 2 ball playing CMs on either flanks, who are there to support the fullbacks and at the same time, linking the mid with 2 wingers upfront, who are playing far wide on the opponent pitch, and theyre not instructed to track back at all kwaajili ya kumaintain a V shape for open-counters and cross aiming at ST and a LCM ambaye when attacking in V shape anaact kama Second ST.
Strategies/Shape/tactics za manager zinavary kulingana Formation, a manager cant use a basic 4-3-3/4-5-1 etc on 4-2-3-1, kila formation ina tactical approach yake na suitable players, mfano mdogo juzi Klopp got schooled na Unai Emery because he deployed a pivot oriented mid kwenye 4-3-3 to play him as a lone sitter, meanwhile Unai deployed a pivot (Lucas and Xhaka), who overloaded our lone sitter in the D zone..this was a tactical disasterclass..
Again, Klopp can deploy a 4-3-3 and Pep can deploy the same formation, but Pep can overrun him, because Pep can use 3 transitional merchants (Walker, De bruyne, B.silva) on top of that he has a very strong ball-carrier CAM, David Silva, whilst Klopp hana hata transional player and even a strong ball carries, hii inaweza kuitwa tactical disasterclass because you cant deploy that formation if you dont have suitable players for that formation..
after 15 minutes at Emirates, Unai emery noticed that, Milner and Gini walikuwa waki-vacate mara kwa mara za right flank na kumuacha TAA, hence he argued his players to start their build-up play upande wa kulia, Klopp noticed that and told Milner kustick kwenye right side ili kumsaidia TAA, this left a huge hole in the middle, as Gini ocucupied a letf flank to balance the pitch, and hence Fabinho was faced by 2 mids at the pack, in football Klopp reacted well, though it got fabinho exposed but our flanks were secured, and VVD played as a Second DM, hence we did not concede a lot of chances..notice, when Gini and Milner were told to drift wide, they did not act as "midfielders" with different roles, Gini played as a LCM and Milner as a RCM, and were creating from the flanks as usual, if wange-act as midfielders kama unayosema wote hawa wawili wangekaa na "katikati" na Fabinho, na kucheza diferent roles za "kugongana na kuingiliana spaces na kubutua mipira"
'midfielders" cant create a 5-man midfield kwenye "D", because you'll be asking LCM, RCM, CAM, RW, LW to come together in a "D" zone to defend, and what different roles watakazo kuwa nazo kwenye "D" zone "katikati?" nimekuuliza hili swali unaniambia nakwepa mjadala. who will receive the balls between the lines?, who will open spaces for LCM and RCMs?, who will be responsible to press kwenye half-spaces?, what about postioning?, what about ball rentention? what about possession patterns? passing patterns? who will move the ball higher-up the pitch? kama tu players wata-act kama "midfielders" with different roles katikati?
do you know kuwa a term "midfielder" in football siyo "GENERAL TERM?" bali linatumika tu kwa mazoea? the real meaning of a midfielder or "kiungo" in swahili ni mchezaji anayecheza "katikati" ya uwanja. kwenye D zone, CMs, CAMs, LCMs, RCMs these are considered generally as "Attacking "Midfielders" and not 'Midfielders" because they are not sitting kwenye centre of the pich, but kwenye advanced positions za kwenye pitch, RWs and LWs are considered as forwards because wapo further-up kwenye pitch, so if you bring these lot kwenye central zone of the pitch to act as "Midfielders" with different roles, who will be responsible na their main roles?
Dude, Defending and pressing are two different things in footie, dont confuse between a LCM asked to press and defending, pressing ni kuwin the ball, every player is asked to do that, so if Firmino is asked to press in advanced areas, doesnt mean he's acting as a "midfielder", if Mane is asked to drop deep and pick the ball, he's not acting as a 'midfielder" and if a manager will want to defend in later minutes of the game, he will either sub off a RWs or a LCM and sub on a "Midfielder" who will be instructed to go and player as a third centre-back, and not asking both forwards and CAMs to act as "midfielders"
and sijakwepa mjadala, i just find it weird kuambiwa kuwa kuna tactical approaches ambazo both CMs and Ws can act as a 5-man midfield in a D zone.
