Massive boost for Liverpool and blow for mancs as Rooney is unlikely to play today.... but, can Liverpool capitalize on Rooney’s absence?
If there is one game to take our season back on track, and to put to bed the hammering blow from westham, this is it. A win against direct rival on their own turf without our three best players will be morale boosting which we really could do with…
Old trafford is not easy place to go and walk away with three points, I will be against my better judgement if I pretend that this is a must win fixture, but I expect us to put a scrap and bust the guts… we need to bounce back from lackadaisical showing against the hammers, how will we do it?
After having a fortnight break, a penny might have dropped in brenton’s thinking. Lets hope brendan comes up with the piece of masterstroke today. Did I just say masterstroke? Well that calls for leap faith.
- I would like us to line up with 442 diamond as It is tailor made for the players we have…. Benteke is impotent as lone striker, he needs patner.. ings or origi should come in alongside him
- 442 diamond will allow milner to operate wider , and there is where he can be effective. As central midfielder,he is headless chicken. I hope brenton plays him outwide if we go with 433 or in the side of diamond if we are to employ 442.
- 442 diamond is the formation that took us to the brink of tittle…all these other formations from brendan rodgers have been futility experiments….the formation will offer us a bit of width which we criminally lack at the moment…
Ideally I would like to think our starting eleven will look like this today
