Onto the semifinals to face Liverpool, the hardest match Barcelona will face in Europe since the clash vs Guardiola's Bayern Munich in 2015. If they want a legendary third treble, that's the minimum required.

“I don’t see how they can deal with the front three and I just think Virgil van Dijk will show he’s the best centre-half in the world.
“He will step up and the three going forward will be miles too quick for Barcelona.”

Lionel Messi has completed 139 take-ons in LaLiga and the Champions League this season.
Virgil van Dijk has not been successfully dribbled past in the Premier League or Champions League this season.
We can't wait. [

Barcelona will face Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals with the game scheduled for 1 May at the Camp Nou stadium and 7 May at Anfield. The Catalans are eager to secure their first UCL win since 2015 while the Reds could play in their second consecutive final of this competitions.
Worryingly, Barcelona have never managed to beat Liverpool over the two-legged tie. They already had three attempts to do so: twice in the UEFA Cup and once in the Champions League.
Back in the 1975/1976 season, the Catalans lost at home and only earned a draw away. In the 2000/2001 season, the situation reversed: the home match resulted in a stalemate while Barca lost 1-0 at Anfield. The most recent meeting between the sides occurred in the 2006/2007 UCL Round of 16. Deco and Gudjohnson's strikes were not enough for the Catalans as they lost 2-1 at the Camp Nou.

The last time Barcelona lost a Champions League knockout match at Camp Nou with Lionel Messi in the starting XI was in February 2007… against Liverpool.
