ANCELOTTI: THERE`S NO FRUSTRATION

It may have been a dramatic ending but Chelsea progressed to the next stage of the Champions League tonight, and there was one man who stood out for Carlo Ancelotti.

Both of the Blues' goals came from Didier Drogba, a player who returned to Champions League football against Atletico Madrid after serving a three-match ban in the European competition.

The first of those goals was a well-placed header at the far post, the second an outstanding run down the centre of the pitch.
Our number 11 beat three men before finally drilling a shot into the centre of the net to put the Blues ahead in brilliant fashion.

'He's doing well at the moment,' said Ancelotti about the goalscoring Ivorian.
'He scored two goals, that's very important, he did very important work and we hope he can play many more games.
'He is in a good form at the moment, just look at how he works.
'I am very happy with his behaviour; he has a very good feeling. I don't want to change him with any other striker.'

Chelsea came back from a goal down to steal the lead in Madrid, only to concede in stoppage time, earning a point from the draw.
Like the Blues, both Atletico's goals came from one man, Sergio Aguero, who first smashed a volley into the net from just inside the box before curling an inch-perfect freekick beyond Cech in stoppage time.
It was a difficult moment as Chelsea forfeited the lead in front of the travelling fans, but for Ancelotti it was not too worrying a factor in the game, as a win for Porto tonight meant the draw was enough to secure progression to the knock-out stages of the competition.

'There was no frustration [in conceding a second goal] but it is never good to take a goal in the last minute.
'It can happen but we are in the next phase of the Champions League and that's what's important.
'It was a difficult match, Atletico played very well but we had very good direction after the first goal.'
However, the opposition manager felt differently.
'I am not happy with the result, I cannot lie,' said Quique Sánchez Flores.
'The team played well, in the circumstances they didn't play badly and they drew, so there are a few positives to take from this.
'But we only gave very few chances for the opposition to score and we had more chances. We have to work on our own scoring from now on.'
