Yes. In the modern day, there is no question Chelsea are the bigger club. History means little in the here and now. Both clubs have a global fan base, solid financials and stadiums. But one team has the recent trophies, bigger players and higher European ranking.
Since Arsenal last won the title in 2003/04, Chelsea have won the league FIVE times. Chelsea also have 4 FA CUPS and 3 League Cups. Not to mention a Champions League and Europa League (Both of which Arsenal has never won). In this same timespan, Arsenal have 2 FA Cups. 13–2 in meaningful trophies over the last 13 years tells its own story.
Arsenal won the majority of their league and record setting FA Cups in the 1930s/40s/50s. Since the 1970s, Chelsea have won the league more times than Arsenal. That tells you a bit about the “history” that Arsenal fans are forced to hold onto to justify the clubs footing in the modern game. Sure, winning titles before WWII is important, but they are irrelevant to today— just ask Liverpool.
Of course I am bias and a Chelsea fan, but I think Chelsea attract a higher profile player and have been far superior over the last 13 seasons. There is no question top level players prefer Chelsea over Arsenal, as evidenced by the recent transfer market. Players like Hazard and Kanre chose Chelsea over Arsenal. One suspects if we wanted ozil or Sanchez we could have lured them. Oh, I should mention Ashley Cole and fabregas- two former gunners that we rescued and made multiple PL champions.

Nobody says Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world only due to having Ronaldo as an all-time great. it goes back years, to di Stefano, Sanchez, Puskas, Raul, Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane, etc. Chelsea has nothing like that, and Arsenal does.

and mentioning money, Arsenal’s turnover for the past few years has been bigger than Chelsea’s. they mention their new kit deal, though nothing stopping us getting a bigger deal once our current one expires….

If one includes tenuous arguments like a Champions League, then maybe they are. but if looked at more widely, it’s Arsenal all day long.
