CHELSEA-bound boss Andre Villas-Boas has resigned as Porto manager

The 33-year-old is set to join the Blues after agreeing to pay his own £13.2million release clause.
Villas-Boas faxed his resignation to the Portuguese club this morning.
A Porto statement to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission said: "We inform the market that Porto was today notified of the intention of the coach Andre Villas-Boas to end his employment contract by triggering its termination clause immediately.
"Accordingly, the agreement has been considered by the company and resolved with the deposit of the amount provided for therein."
Villas-Boas will replace Carlo Ancelotti in the Chelsea hotseat after the double-winning Italian was axed.
He guided Porto to the domestic and Europa League titles last season.
And he is no stranger to Chelsea, having worked there under Jose Mourinho

VILLAS-BOAS INTEREST CONFIRMED

Chelsea Football Club released the following statement on Tuesday evening:
'We note that the release clause of Andre Villas-Boas has been activated. We can at this time confirm our interest in him and hope to reach agreement with him on personal terms and make a further announcement in the near future.'

As a Porto supporter, and a real avid Liverpool fan, i can honestly say i had it with chelsea!! Damn russian thinks he can buy the world just because hes rich!! Granted, no one forced Villas-Boas to leave Porto now, and trust me, most Porto supporters, as me, are p*ssed at his decision, even more because he ALSO is(or so he said) a Porto supporter, being born in Oporto and whatever But anyway, in 2004 he came and took Mourinho, which was okay, he won everything here and he wanted to leave, but then there goes Carvalho and Ferreira, and we had an horrible season! Now, as if it wasnt enough to take Villas-Boas, he wants to take Falcao as well(and more probably)!! I honestly hope chelsea finish 4th next year(at least), get knocked out of the group stage in the CL, and win nothing!! You dont buy your way to a good team, you damn russian!! And as for Villas-Boas, as any Liverpool fan would say, YOULL ALLWAYS WALK ALONE!!!
