BLUE MURDER ... Ashley Cole feels the pain

after his spotkick stinker

haaaaaaaaaa:A S 13::A S 13::A S 13: hiyo nini hapo?????:rain:

120'
ALL OVER - FINALLY

Wow. High drama at Stamford Bridge and when 210 minutes of football in this tie could not seperate the two sides, it was the cruel fate of penalties and none will think it crueller than Chelsea fans who have witnessed their team lose their SEVENTH consecutive penalty shootout. It was a game that twisted and turned and if Baines' late equaliser wasn't enough for our nerves, the penalty shootout ebbed and flowed - Everton the first to miss at their opening attempt but staying cool for the remainder to steep pressure on Chelsea - pressure that got to Nicolas Anelka and Ashley Cole who both missed with poor penalties, leaving Everton captain Phi Neville to crash home the winner. It was a superb advert for the competition and keeps Everton's season alive. Joy for Moyes and Everton - despair for Carlo Ancelotti and the Chelsea faithful.

120'
SCORED

It is all over - Phil Neville slots home and Everton make it through 4-3 on penalties.... what a game

120'
OVER THE BAR!!

Ashley Cole blasts over and Everton have a chance to win this

120'
SCORED

It's all square. Superb penalty by Jonny Heitinga

120'
SCORED

3-2 to Chelsea - Howard gambles and Essien slots down the centre

120'
SCORED

Mikel Arteta hits an unbeatable penalty into the top corner...

120'
SAVED

Anelka tries to fool Howard but his tame effort is kept out by Howard - nailbiting

120'
SCORED

Jagielka keeps the visitors in it with a great penalty

120'
SCORED

Cool as you like, Drogba does Howard with the run-up and slots home

120'
SAVED

Having converted the free-kick, Leighton Baines hits a poor penalty and Cech saves. Advantage Chelsea...

120'
SCORED

Frank Lampard strokes home with aplomb. 1-0 Chelsea

120'
FULL TIME

Penalties it is, then. Chelsea looked destined for a showdown with Reading, but a Leighton Baines free kick - 75 seconds from the end of extra time - sends a barmy tie into penalties.

120'
BUTTER FINGERS

Wowsers! With Nicolas Anelka lurking, Tim Howard fumbles Michael Essien's bouncing strike before gathering at the second time of asking.

120'
TIME ADDED ON

One minute of time added for either side to register an unlikely last-gasp winner.

118'
GOAAAAL!!!!

Would you Adam and Eve it? Petr Cech has no chance as LEIGHTON BAINES guides the ball over the Chelsea wall and into the far corner from 20-yards. Outrageous.

117'
DEADBALL DANGER

Until now, that is. Mikel Arteta and Leighton Baines hover over a free kick on the edge of the Chelsea 'D'...

116'
IN CONTROL

Reasonably confortable for Chelsea as we approach the dying embers. Everton just haven't managed to get the ball into the box for the likes of Marouane Fellaini since the end of normal time.

114'
YELLOW CARD

The yellow card amnesty lasts about 40 minutes; Mikel Arteta booked for a clumsy challenge on Michael Essien.

112'
SUBSTITUTION

Yuri Zhirkov picks up a handy appearance fee for the Blues. The, dare I say, impressive Salomon Kalou makes way.

111'
CHASING A SECOND

It's all Chelsea at the mo', with Nicolas Anelka leading Messrs Neville, Jagielka, Distin and Baines on a merry dance in and around the Everton area.

108'
FLAG STAYS DOWN

Branislav Ivanovic's mad dash into the Everton area so very nearly pays off. The flag stays down, but Salomon Kalou's chipped pass bounces away from the energetic Serb and into Tim Howard's grateful mitts.

106'
SECOND HALF

15 minutes for Everton to force penalties.

105'
HALF TIME OF EXTRA TIME

Right place right time for Frank Lampard. Chelsea are ahead for the first time in over 180 minutes of action, and Everton - seemingly out of puff - have it all to do.

104'
GOAAAAL!!!!

FRANK LAMPARD breaks Everton's resistance. The Toffees don't deal with Nicolas Anelka's right-wing cross; Drogba cushions for Lampard who, bang on the penalty spot, leathers into the bottom corner.

103'
ASKING THE QUESTIONS

Chelsea continue to play with more intent; Nicolas Anelka's introduction has had the desired effect. Everton seem content going to penalties.

100'
ON THE BREAK

Philip Jagielka does brilliantly to prevent Didier Drogba's pull-back from finding Nicolas Anelka. It's at the expense of a corner, but Everton hold firm.

97'
TEASING EFFORT

Nicolas Anelka bumbles across the Everton area; Salomon Kalou rolls back for Didier Drogba, but curls onto the roof of the net from 18-yards. Nice idea.

95'
SUBSTITUTION

David Moyes' final change sees John Heitinga on in place of Leon Osman - a move that should allow Marouane Fellaini to push on a bit.

93'
BREADBASKET

No problems for Tim Howard, the US stopper gobbling up Salomon Kalou's overcooked attempt to pick out Droggles.

91'
HERE WE GO AGAIN

Nicolas Anelka joins the action as extra time gets underway. Florent Malouda makes way.

90'
FULL TIME

Apparently no one wants a place in the fifth round. After 180 minutes of action, we're heading for extra time. Chelsea were again foiled by Tim Howard's heroics - although Frank Lampard missed a sitter from just ten-yards - while Marouane Fellaini had one chalked off for offside at the death. Who wants it more?

90'
LAST THROW OF THE DICE

Victor Anichebe wins a late corner that's headed clear with ease. That should be that.

90'
TIME ADDED ON

Into the first of three minutes of injury time as Didier Drogba sends a free kick across goal and wide.

89'
RULED OUT

Everton have the ball in the net, but it won't count. A short free kick is worked to Leighton Baines, whose fierce right-footed strike is fumbled by Petr Cech into the path of Marouane Fellaini, who had narrowly strayed offside.

87'
KITCHEN SINK

Everton are inviting the pressure and Chelsea are obliging. Frank Lampard can't get his shot away in the box, though, and John Terry's follow-up is deflected to safety.

84'
STINGER

Chelsea's hunt for a winner sees Michael Essien quite literally spank a steward's behind.

83'
WASTED

Could be one of those days for Chelsea. Didier Drogba slides through to Florent Malouda, who appears to handle on his way into the Everton box. Tim Howard makes himself big, with the ball eventually knocked back for Frank Lampard, whose powederpuff lob sails into the stands. All he had to do was welly it on target.

81'
IMMEDIATE IMPACT

Victor Anichebe is mere inches away from possibly dumping the holders out of the FA Cup, the Everton substitute sliding in at the near post to meet Diniyar Bilyaletdinov's teasing cross, but failing to make full contact.

80'
SUBSTITUTION

Like for like Everton change; Victor Anichebe on, Jermaine Beckford off.

79'
BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR

Philip Jagielka is in need of attention after an accidental clash of heads with Didier Drogba.

78'
HIGH AND WIDE

Whiff of desperation about Chelsea's play as Frank Lampard collects from Drogba and launches into row M from 25-yards.

77'
COME AND GET ME

The ball's begging to be turned home as Didier Drogba's clipped cross evades Frank Lampard and falls to John Terry at the far post. It's an ugly first touch from the Chelsea skipper, who opts to stab the ball back into the mixer when he really ought to be drilling goalwards.

75'
THE WAIT GOES ON

Still we await the first goal of the afternoon. Extra time looms large...

73'
EASY PICKINGS

Respite for the Toffees as Leighton Baines finds the head of Diniyar Bilyaletdinov. No trouble for Petr Cech, though.

71'
NO JOY

Salomon Kalou puts on the afterburners to take three Everton players out of the game. Ramires arrives on the opposite flank and crosses for Frank Lampard, who lands his header a good few yards wide of the upright.

69'
SUBSTITUTION

Everton's Diniyar Bilyaletdinov replaces the subdued Tim Cahill.

67'
OFF TARGET

Chelsea come again, though Ramires' 20-yard strike lacks the precision to trouble Tim Howard. Everton are rocking.

65'
DENIED

Everton fail to pick up Branislav Ivanovic from the corner. Luckily, Salomon Kalou gets in the way of the big Serb's towering header.

63'
POINT-BLANK SAVE

Ramires runs in behind Leighton Baines, the Brazilian combining with Salomon Kalou and driving a fierce ball across goal. Five yards out, Frank Lampard looks certain to score, but Tim Howard sticks out a leg to divert the ball behind.

60'
YELLOW CARD

Are we destined to see a bit of red? Sylvain Distin, the latest culprit for a rash challenge on Branislav Ivanovic.

59'
SPOONER

Jermaine Beckford really ought to do better, the former Leeds striker scooping over from the edge of the area after Frank Lampard had been caught in possession by Seamus Coleman.

57'
SOFT HEADER

Another set piece produces another decent chance, this time for Everton. Branislav Ivanovic concedes the free kick for a push on Jermaine Beckford, but Leon Osman can only direct Leighton Baines' delivery into the arms of Petr Cech.

56'
THE ESSIEN EFFECT

Chelsea have looked the stronger unit and the more likely to find a way through, since the restart. The introduction of Michael Essien appears to have added some much-needed steel to the midfield.

54'
AND AGAIN

This time Drogba returns the favour, the Ivorian picking out the head of Frank Lampard, who nods over from 12-yards.

53'
YELLOW CARD

Seamus Coleman scythes down Branislav Ivanovic for booking number four.

53'
CAUGHT NAPPING

Chelsea catch Everton cold as Frank Lampard cuts the ball back for Didier Drogba, whose goalbound strike spins behind off a white jersey. It's that same Chelsea combo from the resulting corner, but Everton snuff out the threat.

50'
YELLOW CARD

Ramires clips the ball round Leighton Baines, who blocks off the Brazilian. Easy decision for the referee.

48'
ROUTINE TAKE

Despite falling to the deck, Leon Osman manages to get a shot away from inside the area. It's tame, though, and an easy save for Petr Cech.

48'
WELL HELD

Drogba delivers from the left-hand side, but Tim Howard watches it all the way and smothers on the goal line.

47'
PUSHY

Philip Neville concedes a free kick for a push on Didier Drogba, very much in the Ivorian's territory...

46'
SECOND HALF

Up and running again in west London. Michael Essien, by the way, is on at Obi Mikel's expense.

45'
HALF TIME

Very good Cup tie at Stamford Bridge. Everton have been outstanding; they've surpassed Chelsea from front to back and are arguably only one spot-on Leighton Baines delivery away from what would be a merited lead. That said, Chelsea's sluggish and narrow attempts have thrice forced Tim Howard into action.

44'
YELLOW CARD

Heart in the mouth moment as Ramires, darting onto Salomon Kalou's clever pass into the box, goes down over the onrushing Tim Howard. The home fans don't get their wish, though, and Ramires is booked for simulation. Good decision.

42'
YELLOW CARD

Seamus Coleman has his legs taken from under him by Florent Malouda, who's rightly booked.

40'
UNDER THE COSH

Everton have the initiative, but are still lacking that killer ball as Branislav Ivanovic heads clear from Marouane Fellaini.

38'
UP AND OUT

Philip Neville sticks out a boot to deflect Didier Drogba's 20-yard sighter narrowly over the crossbar. Florent Malouda's outswinger is then punched clear with authority by the impressive Tim Howard.

35'
DANGER MAN

That trusty left peg of Leighton Baines continues to test Chelsea's resolve. Terry and co, though, are standing up well to the Toffees' aerial threat.

32'
BACK IN THE ACTION

The vaseline serves Florent Malouda well, the Frenchman returning to meet Didier Drogba's neat pass over the head of Philip Jagielka and force another strong save from Tim Howard. Branislav Ivanovic heads Malouda's resulting flag kick towards goal, but Everton hook clear.

30'
BALL AND CHAIN

Chelsea temporarily down to ten after Phil Dowd notices an illegal bit of bling on Florent Malouda's finger. It appears to be a wedding ring that's refusing to budge.

28'
OPEN

Bags of energy to this one now, with Everton just shading it in terms of enterprise and possession. Although Chelsea have arguably forged the better openings.

25'
COUNTER

Chelsea's lightning-fast counter suddenly has Everton in a muddle. Salomon Kalou cuts back to Frank Lampard, whose near post volley is deflected into the path of Florent Malouda. A spread-eagle Tim Howard gets a hand to the Frenchman's follow-up, before Didier Drogba - seemingly OK after that earlier knock - drifts one wide from 25-yards.

24'
EVERTON ON TOP

Everton have their tails up as Seamus Coleman swings a boot from the edge of the box and wins a corner courtesy of John Terry. Nothing comes of it, though.

22'
TURN OF SPACE

Leighton Baines again exposes Paulo Ferreira's defensive inadequacies with a surging left-wing run and cross. Jermaine Beckford bursts away from John Terry towards the near post, but can't apply the killer touch.

20'
GOT WOOD?

My, that's some stroke of luck. Frank Lampard swings in a free kick that never was; Phil Jagielka, attempting to head the ball up and out, inadvertently glances the ball towards the bottom corner with a combination of Howard and the upright somehow sparing the defender's blushes. John Terry lunges at the follow-up, but spoons over.

19'
GRIMACE

The look on Didier Drogba's face says it all. He surely won't last much longer.

16'
RIGHT IDEA

Everton build patiently, with Mikel Arteta sliding in Leighton Baines on the left-hand side. Seamus Coleman guides the ensuing cross back across goal for Marouane Fellaini, who's rightly penalised for an almighty shove in the back of Mikel.

14'
ON THE DECK

Concern for Drogba, who goes down under a challenge from Philip Jagielka. The big striker looks like he's had enough.

12'
BEATEN FOR PACE

Tim Cahill plays a superb ball out wide right for the rampaging Seamus Coleman. The young Toffee leaves Ashley Cole for dead, before cutting back onto his left foot and firing a low cross straight at the keeper.

12'
HANDBALL

The whistle sounds for an accidental handball against Mikel Arteta after John Terry had managed to bulldoze his way up to halfway. Very harsh on the Spaniard.

10'
CRUDE TACKLE

Mikel Arteta is fortunate to escape without a booking after crudely clipping the right heel of Mikel in the centre of the park.

8'
SAVING CHALLENGE

Jermaine Beckford scampers in behind Branislav Ivanovic, but John Terry hares back to stick out a vital leg and flick the ball into touch.

7'
SEA OF WHITE

Much better from the home side as Salomon Kalou dinks out wide for the overlapping Paulo Ferreira. Chelsea trade blows with the Everton defenders, who repel each an every attempt to pick out Drogba in the area.

5'
POOR TOUCH

Chelsea build from the right-back area, with Frank Lampard exchanging passes with Didier Drogba. The Ivorian's return, though, is at an awkward height for his team-mate and Sylvain Distin can clear.

3'
POSSESSION PLAY

Bright start by Everton, who are seeing plenty of the ball. Leon Osman lets fly from 20-yards, but it's straight at Petr Cech.

1'
FIRST TOUCH FOR THE KEEPERS

Salomon Kalou tries to flick John Terry's long punt into the path of Didier Drogba, but the ball rolls through to Tim Howard. Everton break through Leon Osman, whose lame cross is gobbled up by Petr Cech.

0'
WE'RE OFF

Referee Phil Dowd gets things going at a sodden Stamford Bridge. Remember, this has to be settled this afternoon so don't rule out extra time and penalties.

0'
EVERTON TEAM NEWS

Jermaine Beckford, Phil Jagielka and Leon Osman all return to the Everton XI, with Victor Anichebe, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov and John Heitinga all dropping to the bench. As expected, the game has come too soon for Louis Saha.

0'
CHELSEA TEAM NEWS

Paulo Ferreira starts at right back for Chelsea, with Branislav Ivanovic moving into the middle alongside John Terry. Didier Drogba, John Mikel Obi and Salomon Kalou, who were all rested against Fulham, start. Nicolas Anelka and Michael Essien have to make do with spots on the bench.

0'
KICK OFF - 1230GMT

The fixtures are beginning to come thick and fast for a Chelsea side battling to hold on to their 'big four' status and an Everton side fighting to avoid a relegation dogfight. One has to wonder how welcome a distraction an FA Cup fourth round replay really is.

0'
ONE TO WATCH

Everton managed very well with the absence of top goalscorer Tim Cahill during the winter months, largely because Louis Saha and Jermaine Beckford finally delivered. But Saha's usual injury problems have re-emerged, meaning Cahill will have to take the bull by the horns if Everton are to get anywhere near Wembley.

0'
NOT SO HAPPY HUNTING GROUND

Everton have it all to do if they are to oust the holders, with Stamford Bridge having been an unhappy hunting ground for the Toffees in recent times. Their last win in these parts came way back in November 1994, with 20 games in all competitions having come and gone since then. The Toffees have, however, lost only one of their last seven tussles with the Blues, with that loss coming in the 2009 FA Cup final.

0'
DUO DE SULK

The cup-tied Fernando Torres will have to wait a little longer to break his Chelsea duck, meaning Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba could be reunited up front. Alex, Yossi Benayoun and Yuri Zhirkov remain sidelined, but Jose Bosingwa could return. Everton are without Jack Rodwell and, crucially, the in-form Louis Saha.

0'
PREVIEW

Chelsea, looking to become the first team to win three FA Cup titles on the bounce since Blackburn in the 1880s, and Everton, without a trophy since their triumph in the competition back in 1995, are set to do it all again after Salomon Kalou's second-half strike earned the cup holders an FA Cup fourth round replay on their own patch. A meeting with Reading awaits the victor.
