The Italian maintains that he will not be looking for a new job until the summer of 2018 following his dismissal by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich

Carlo Ancelotti does not want to “upset” Antonio Conte with links to Chelsea, but admits that a Premier League return is an option.

The Italian currently finds himself out of work following his dismissal by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Several clubs have already been linked with an approach for his services, with a second stint at Chelsea – where he has previously won a Premier League and FA Cup double being mooted.

A vacant post at Everton has also been discussed, as have roles in China and Italy.

Ancelotti, though, maintains that he will not be taking on another job until the summer of 2018, telling Radio Anch’io lo Sport on the latest rumours: “I have time to watch football now. I am looking for new opportunities but not right now. My contract with Bayern expires at the end of the season and that’s when I’ll start listening to new offers.

“I want a serious project that can give me time and serenity, even though I know it’s not easy. I am just waiting and something will come.

“The Premier League is a very interesting league of course. The atmosphere is amazing there, even if Bundesliga stadiums are also great.

he picked up on international duty with France in early October.

However, Kante, 26, trained with Chelsea’s first team in London on Monday before the team head to AS Roma to play in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

After missing five games for Chelsea — a defeat to Crystal Palace, draw with Roma, plus three narrow victories with plenty of shaky defensive displays — Kante’s return would obviously be a huge boost for Antonio Conte.

The Italian manager told the media over the weekend that Kante could be ready to face Roma in a massive UCL clash.

“I hope so. He could be ready. I know very well the importance of this player. I want to be sure he is ready. I hope to have him in this game, but I prefer to not take this type of risk. If he is ready, he plays,” Conte said.

Real Madrid are currently enduring a nightmare season, sitting eight points behind Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table.

Yesterday’s shock 2-1 defeat to minnows Girona has increased the pressure on Zinedine Zidane, who knows he must turn things around to keep club president Florentino Perez happy.

And Spanish website Diario Gol claims that, to add to Zidane’s crisis, some members of the Real Madrid squad think Los Blancos were wrong to let Rodriguez and Morata depart.

Both players were shown the door back in the summer after failing to nail down a spot in Zidane’s starting XI last season.

Rodriguez was linked with Manchester United and Chelsea but both Premier League clubs ultimately opted again pursuing him.

Instead, the Colombia international joined Bayern Munich on a two-year loan deal, where he has endured a rocky start.

Morata, meanwhile, joined Chelsea.

United were expected to tie up his signing but instead splurged £75million on Romelu Lukaku.

Diario Gol add Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is also plotting a huge spending spree.

Harry Kane, Paulo Dybala and Antoine Griezmann are all being considered to lead the line next term.

At the back, Alvaro Odriozola of Real Sociedad is admired tho Bayern Munich’s David Alaba is also being lined up.

And United shotstopper David De Gea remains on their agenda, two years after a move to the Bernabeu dramatically collapsed on deadline day.

helsea boss Antonio Conte warns Roma: I’m a better manager now than when I left Italy

Antonio Conte believes he is returning to Italy for the first time with Chelsea as a superior manager.

Chelsea take on Roma tomorrow night in the Champions League and his presence in the Italian capital is subject of great debate in his homeland.

Conte joined Chelsea after leading Italy to the quarter-finals at Euro 2016. Prior to his two years with the national team, he was manager of Juventus, leading them to the Serie A title three times.

There has been increasing speculation over Conte’s future and he has already confirmed he will return to Italy one day for another job. However, the 48‑year-old, who won the title in May in his first season with Chelsea, said: “When you join a different league from your own and compete for the first time, you need to understand certain dynamics, you need to bring your own ideas to your new environment.

“It was difficult and challenging but I have really enjoyed it because I feel like I’m a better manager compared to before. We must not forget that last season we didn’t play in any European competition, it’s important for any team to play in this big tournament [the Champions League].

“Our aim is to give it our best shot, to try our hardest and to go as far as possible.”

Chelsea are two points clear of Roma at the top Group C but struggled in securing a 3-3 draw against them at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago.

Conte added: “We know that this game will be tough. In the first game that we played at home, I think, at the end, it was a good result.

“But for sure, I’d like to play better and we will try to do this in the game against Roma.

“As a player, sometimes I won [at the Stadio Olimpico], sometimes I lost, as a coach it happens the same - because Roma are a strong team, one of the best in Italy. To play against them is not easy.”

Rudiger: I’m a Blue now
NEWSMON 30 OCT 2017

Antonio Rudiger says he and his Chelsea team-mates will head to Rome today full of confidence after three wins in the space of a week.

The Blues made it back-to-back Premier League victories on Saturday, following up the dramatic come-from-behind win over Watford with a 1-0 success at Bournemouth that was more comfortable than the scoreline suggested.

Sandwiched in between those results was Carabao Cup progress at the expense of Everton, and attention now turns to Roma, who we meet for the second time in Group C following a 3-3 draw at the Bridge last time out which leaves us top of the standings on seven points.

'The last week was very important,' said Rudiger, the only player to start all three matches. 'We go to Rome with confidence. We are back to winning ways and we want to continue.

'We need to be ready in their stadium because it will be very, very hard. I know this team. They want to play football and they always have this desire, no matter what the situation is. This is what they did – they came to Stamford Bridge and had more ball possession than we. We all saw it.

'[Edin] Dzeko is a very dangerous striker, like in the Premier League, everyone knows him. Also [Aleksandar] Kolarov at the back, who comes with a lot of power.'

For Rudiger, the trip to the Stadio Olmpico represents a return to the ground he called home for two years, having joined the Giallorossi in 2015 from VfB Stuttgart.

It is the fourth time we will visit the stadium in the Champions League following two matches with Lazio and one against Roma, the last of which was nine years ago – but Rudiger knew a swift return to his old stadium would be forthcoming.

'I spoke to my parents [before the draw] and I already knew,' he said. 'They told me, “For sure you will get Roma – it always happens like this, the ex plays against the ex.”

'I'm happy to go to Rome and to play against my old team. First of all, I have big respect for this club because I had two wonderful years there.

'There were up and downs with injuries, but everyone was always standing behind me. I appreciate that. But I'm now in Chelsea, I'm very happy with that, and I will give 100 per cent in the game.'

The Blues travel to Rome having won six of our past seven away games in the Premier League, as well as beating Atletico Madrid in our solitary Champions League trip to date.

We also go into the game on the back of our first clean sheet since the 4-0 win at Stoke City before the last international break, with Rudiger and co. restricting Bournemouth to only one shot on target – and that in stoppage time – which is their joint-lowest tally since earning promotion to the Premier League in 2015.

'I'm very happy about the result and the effort of the team,' he said of the 1-0 victory earned by Eden Hazard's second-half goal. 'This is what counts for me personally. We all did a great job.

'I'm very pleased with the games I've played and I always try to give my best for the team. At the moment I'm in good shape and this where I want to stay – and to get better.

'I also have to say big respect for the smaller teams [in England]. They always give their all and this is very good. It makes the league very competitive and this is what I like.

'In my mindset, when I knew I would come to Chelsea I was already clear in my head: “Hey, you need to be in every game 100 per cent focused and try to develop every time.” With my 24 years I am still young and I have to improve. There's a lot of space to improve.'

'In my mindset, when I knew I would come to Chelsea I was already clear in my head: “Hey, you need to be in every game 100 per cent focused and try to develop every time.” With my 24 years I am still young and I have to improve. There's a lot of space to improve.'

Alvaro Morata Full Pre-Match Press Conference - Roma v Chelsea - Champions League

sijui kwanini conte hawaamini hawa madogo[kennedy+musonda].
Anawaamini ndio maana wanapata nafasi kwenye carabao huko
