Chelsea’s Victor Moses will be out for up to a month after suffering a hamstring injury, according to the Sun. The Nigerian attacker turned wing back picked up the injury in Chelsea’s 1-2 defeat to Crystal Palace last Saturday, adding to Antonio Conte’s injury problems in the last two weeks.

Chelsea are in deep injury crisis after injuries to N’Golo Kante, Alvaro Morata and Danny Drinkwater reduces their numbers in match day squads. Morata is expected to return in Chelsea’s Champions League game against AS Roma on Wednesday. The Spaniard will be the first to return among the injured in Chelsea’s physio room.

Kante is expected to return to the first team shortly before Chelsea take on Manchester United on November 5, but Moses will not be available until sometime further than that. The 26-year old will miss six Chelsea games in the period. The double header against AS Roma, a Carabao Cup game against Everton, and Premier League clashes with Watford, Bournemouth and Manchester United will go on without the services of Moses.

Moses's absence is not that crucial since we have Zappacosta and Azpilicueta who can fill that void.

Chelsea could be boosted by the return of striker Alvaro Morata for the Champions League meeting with Roma.

Alvaro Morata could return from injury when Chelsea face Roma in the Champions League, Antonio Conte has revealed.

The club's record signing picked up a hamstring strain in the first half of a 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City before the international break.

And the striker was not involved as the Premier League title-holders suffered a shock 2-1 loss at bottom side Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Conte, though, has confirmed the 24-year-old is available to face Roma in the Group C clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

"Alvaro is in contention for tomorrow's game," the manager told a news conference.

"He has trained with us and is in contention for tomorrow."

N'Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater and Victor Moses have also picked up recent injuries and Conte feels a lack of depth in his squad is to blame for the mounting list of absentees.

"The problem is we are playing the same players and they are not used to playing three games in a row," he said.

"I have to take risks. Morata got injured against City, but if I didn't put him in there you'd say I was crazy.

"I could have taken a risk to play Morata on Saturday versus Palace but I am not so stupid because the situation is difficult.

Kosa litakuwa kumpanga Azpilicueta nafasi ya Moses. Ni heri Azpi abaki nafasi yake na Zappacosta acheze nafasi ya Moses. Mabadiliko mengine yeyote yafanyike baada ya mechi kuanza.

Azpilicueta analeta balance kwenye defence na akama tuko vizuri kwa defence then mara moja moja anaweza kupanda kusaidia mashambulizi. Kumuweka wingback ni kumpunguzia nguvu ya kukaba.
