Do you what "advance" is?
What they mean is that for you to do medicine in their institution you past have passed basic medical knowledge from your previous study for example you must pass your certificate cause in Medicine for you to advance to diploma level. The same happens when you want to do the degree level, you must have pass the diploma level in order to advance to degree level. Do you know what that means? It means longer time studying.

Those are diploma and certificate courses, not degree courses. Get the difference. You can't do a degree in medicine with grade C in Kenya. The minimum requirement is grade A of 82 points

You don't get it and I don't think we will understanding each other. Let's look at it through this angle. Placement of students into their preferred universities and causes are done through cluster points. Here is the list of all students selected to do medicine in UoN and the list had 45 points as the minimum out of 48. Do you know how those points are calculated?
