NAIROBI,
Kenyans decided to "own" this kind of homes,--- see below--- because it is cheaper in the long run. You get the necessary infrastructure easily, like drainage system, internet services ... without a sweat. You ,still own the home, whether it looks exactly like your neighbours house, it is still a beautiful home in a serene environment, though some still prefer to build their own, actually the majority of people. People own homes in the rural areas, their birth place or "ushago" and in towns.. This nortion that Kenyans don't own land or property is a story you guys tell yourselves to sleep better.

And I don't know what you mean by common people, Kwani some people are ultra and the rest of us are "common" Kenyans are just Kenyans. all common or ultra. I don't know why you can class your people into commoners and wherever... you should maybe say middle income... and most of those homes are owned by middle class people in Nairobi. The rich people homes don't get photographed ovyo ovyo.

Thank you.We deem our ushagos the small havens to put up nice homes....Nairobi acre moja ni 40 or 50 million Kenyan shillings while ushago land is free.So that's the economic sense most middle class Kenyans make.......serious cities don't have cheap land available like in Dar or even Mombasa to some extent.
