As I said earlier, the government only carters for TUITION fee, the rest of the fees are the responsibility of the parent. The government can't buy uniforms for your kids for example. The cost of keeping a child in school involves so many things. This child must pay for tuition fee, maintenance fee, activity fee, boarding fee which include food and other stuff, plus many other things. Out of these, the government took the bulk of it which is tuition fee which accounts for more than a half of all fees paid in school.
