You keep asking suburbs because Kenya has advantage on that, Its like us to keep asking you to post BRT Buses or Bridges like Kigamboni because you have your own Matatu and serves the purpose in Nairobi. In Kenya I think most estates are owned by private entities and they develop them into good housing projects. In Dar es salaam everyone has his/her own plot and will develop it they way they wish depending on their. its Hard to buy all the plots and turn it into suburbs like yours. But in some areas things are changing, many govt open spaces have been turned to look like those suburbs you brag daily here. Some private companies are also buying land and coming up with beautiful satellite cities like Avic town, look at our social security funds too , developing a lot of good housing estates. NSSF Dege eco village, watumishi satellite towns etc.
To show you why DAR wont have some uniform housing estates like yours, Dar have areas with anyone building the kind of house they like. and I think someone is trying to tell you show us where your people build their own houses and not those uniform posh suburbs that few people can afford.
This area here stretches to Bagamoyo town, You will find beautiful houses built by people depending on their income and you are busy calling them slums.
Just went through google Earth na I think You still have many places like DAR, in short bado tunatembelea kichwa wote humu. We are Both still 3rd World. Forget kuwa kwenye ile list ambayo mmepetiwa na mstari mwekundu Kwa chini.😛😀
Ila ni aibu kama mpo Busy kushindana na Dar wakati mlitakiwa muwe sawa na singapore Noma sana. mnaongea mtafikiri ni developed nation.

Wakenya wanaomiliki makazi/nyumba zao katika Nairobi ni 10%,wanaomiliki MABANDA ambayo hayana hadhi ya kuitwa nyumba kule Kibera na mitaa mingine kama hiyo ni 50%,wanaobaki 40% wamepanga kwenye nyumba matajiri
Wakati Dar 40% ya wakazi wanamiliki nyumba/makazi yao ambayo ni bora,20% wanamiliki makazi/nyumba za kawaida 20% wanamiliki makazi duni lakini bora ukilinganusha na Kibera,na 20% tu wamepanga
Kwa maana nyingine ni kwamba 80% ya Wakazi wa Dar wanamiliki nyumba/makazi na 20% wamepanga. Wakati Nairobi 10% ndo wanamiliki nyumba/makazi yao,50% wanaishi kwenye mabanda ya Kuku na Nguruwe na 40% wamepanga kwenye nyumba za Mabwenyenye
