The good thing with Kenya is that we are not in denial. We accept kuna slums here and there. Actually kwa census ya 2009, kibera had 170k residents according to the government who did an actual head count. Assuming population growth, it is estimated at 270k residents. Which makes sence for a 2.5 sq km piece of land. And actually they are upgrading it
In Dar, people live in informal settlements aka slums, but ukweli, nyani haoni kundule.

Thats the size of Kibera, those who have never seen it. At one o'clock direction from katikati ya kibera, utaona a golf course. Use that golf course and estimate how actually small Kibera is vs what you imagine. Kibera iko na watu wengi for its small area but govt census was at 170k. Other huuuuuge inflation of numbers are as a result of NGOs wanting funds and stuff. So talking about the slum inaonyesha how bitter you guys really are
