This half donut stadium has come a long way . I remember a photo of my Dad watching a game there between a team called Tukuyu Stars and Yanga ( he was a Yanga fan). He was seated on a wooden bench . Back then this was the National Stadium ( uwanja wa Taifa Dar Es Salaam officially )
Don’t forget while my Dad was on a wooden bench , Kenya had Nyayo Stadium ( then the most modern stadium in East and Central Africa)…. Na haturingi 🤪🤪
