Kenya is an allied nation to the US … and the benefits of such Ebola quarantine arrangement would put Kenya on the forefront of future vaccines.
The reason why Africa will forever depend on mzungu to save us is because we reason backwards. We trend carefully and take no risks . Every lifestyle we enjoy today was a result of a risk and sacrifice by someone or a group. For example , Thankfully the inventors of air travel were not Tanzanians. US opens us bases and send ebola patients to mathare, whats worse its on the fore front to make sure you get loans on time, sometimes its better to shut up

Where brand new LC70 Hardtops actually come from:

1. Toyota Tanzania Ltd - Official distributor
Origin: Japan
Toyota only manufactures the 70 Series Hardtop in Japan. Specifically at the Yoshiwara plant + Tahara plant. Toyota Tanzania imports them straight from Japan and specs them for Tanzanian fuel + terrain.

2. Dubai Exporters - Dubicars listings
Origin: Japan
Dubai doesn’t manufacture Toyotas. Those “2025 LC76/LC78” on Find New & Used Cars for Sale - Prices, Reviews, and Latest Auto News | DubiCars are built in Japan, then exported to Dubai dealers for re-export. Dubai is just a hub. Same with BE FORWARD - they source zero-mile/brand new LC70s from Japan and ship to Dar.

3. Car Junction Tanzania + Land Cruiser Tanzania
Origin: Japan
Both advertise “Japanese-made Land Cruisers sourced directly from Japan”. They handle import + clearing for you.

Key detail: Toyota doesn’t make LC70 Hardtops anywhere else
Unlike the Land Cruiser 300 or Prado which are made in Japan + other plants, the 70 Series Hardtop/Pickup is Japan-only production. That’s why everyone calls it “Japanese-made” and why the quality/durability rep is so strong.

Exceptions to watch for:
  • RHD vs LHD: Japan builds both. TZ uses RHD. Dubai exports both RHD + LHD.
  • Spec differences: Dubai often has petrol V6 4.0L + 2.8L diesel auto. TZ official gets 4.2L diesel manual 1HZ because of local fuel quality.

So: Factory = Japan. Port of export = could be Japan, Dubai/Jebel Ali, or UAE if buying from an exporter.
