Do you really NEED these expensive high tech defence systems(Expensive/high tech as you said)? Really? Scared of Al Shabab,maybe Tz? Maybe Rwanda?

Honestly it’s about the balance of power and Kenya must maintain a regional edge. I have no answers but read the US African foreign policy paper. The Spyder is to counteract Museveni’s 4th Gen Sukhois and Ethiopian 4.5th Gen Sukhois . But with F-16s arrival, it will empower Kenya even more.

Your talking points aside, respond with logic. Prove me wrong. How many ballistic missiles did Iran cowardly sent towards Israel ( a tiny country that can be annihilated). How many hit their target?..How can a tiny Israeli Air Force rule over the skies of a huge Iran for days without opposition of any kind?…You can call it propaganda but unfortunately for you the world has eyes to witness. Just go back to sleep .😁😁

I don’t sit on policy maker’s sessions but I know their resolutions. So for the no answer part of the equation , I don’t know why the decision was made to ensure that Kenya 🇰🇪 maintains a cutting edge militarily over the region, same as for Israel 🇮🇱 in the middle East (in case you missed that memo)..🤪

Don't put Kenya and Israel in the same bracket and I don't need to explain this. Procurement ni njia moja ya viongozi kula. The bigger the deal the bigger the cut. Kenya,Tz and many African countries do not need those high tech weapons /equipments. We need to sort out basic issues first.

I always regard you highly in this sub forum but I think today I realized you are not well informed regarding the realm of United States foreign policy. Take an online class. For your hint , every country on the planet has its own chart at the file halls of the US state department. That’s how a world’s superpower operates. Though every nation has some form of similar aspect, the difference is the US has the ability to project power based on influence and interests. When you learn that field, then you might understand why Kenya is the regional choice for the United States and therefore special actions must be taken towards that goal. You have some way to go otherwise I might sound Greek to you ..😁..Now let’s talk about procurement 😁😁😁

Using the same logic, Tanzania is rather a more peaceful nation than Kenya, arguably in both EAC and SADC blocks. you’re sandwiched between very peaceful neighbors, the nearest terrorist/extremest groups are thousands of miles away from your borders and being contained by the neighboring countries so why do you need any of your arsenal?

These guys had better call it with Israel already. The arab world has been losing wars to a tiny Israel for eons until they gave up…can you imagine if Israel had thrown down the camp David accords, they would have expanded their territory well into Cairo Amman and Beirut by now.

We rely on the media to learn about those events because neither of us was on the battlefield. However, considering the long history of disinformation in Western media, this is why I expressed my opinion:

Did you see that Real something guy calling my statement propaganda… talk of projection… I love the way he spews Iran’s talking points yet the US B2 bombers went inside that country, bombed the crap outta nuclear ☢️ sites and Iran response was “ you will hear from us soon”.. still waiting…. Most people don’t understand that the US and Israel have the capability to shut down air space before strikes . It’s like being attacked with blind folds on your eyes. You don’t know where the jabs are coming from since you are blinded and you can do nothing about it till the air space is given back to you . Thats some ultimate real power there.
