Yemeni boy , let me enlighten you. The US military has never lost any modern conventional warfare. The problem arises when the dust settles and rules of engagement apply during occupation. If no rules are applied, the US can destroy any nation in an instant. I know Army guys serving time in prison at Leavenworth Kansas for battle field violations like shooting in civilian occupied areas. No other country fights like that. US military matched through Iraq and occupied Baghdad in 3 days ( operation desert storm). But the occupation became the problem. Same with Afghanistan. Overthrew the Taliban government in 2 days but the occupation became a hazard. It’s all about rules of engagement. Too many rules whereas the enemy is not observing the same.
