Why is the government building beach front properties for the rich?

By the time this ghost-project at Kawe is complete, Nairobi will be a true metropolis, with highrises everywhere you look.

In that Kibra project alone, each of those blocks would be the tallest building in half of all African countries, and there are 72 of them.

If it was teleported in Kigali, it would overshadow everything and become its own CBD.
