Kwanza Westlands and Upper Hill ni kama tu zimekuwa reserved, still not much going on. Can't wait to see those skimpy Bungalows in Upper Hill being demolished.Kanairo is about to enter the super skyscrapers zone ….. the next 5 years will be interesting to watch…. Why are Kenyans so afraid of Tanzanians?
Eastleigh can't have tall buildings because of the Air force barracks next to it.This a game changer… I predict a 40 story building in Eastleigh in Linder 3 years … watch this space

WHAT SPORT IS TANZANIA GOOD AT?…… so far the answer is so elusive like the legend of the Big Foot…. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agree. The county should step up and enforce controlled development. Things like ensuring green spaces, playgrounds and ensuring developers do not build beacon to beacon. Not a good move though.
A city in a tiny dot{haaahaaa} live long UK.
Exactly, hapo utapata Sakaja amelishwa kakitu.I agree. The county should step up and enforce controlled development. Things like ensuring green spaces, playgrounds and ensuring developers do not build beacon to beacon
Kweli, many developers have gone rogue and are building only for profits and do not care about quality of life. City council needs to be more strict with regulations. Proper cooperation between the county and private developers could see Nairobi transform in a manner we have not witnessed before. I a a staunch supporter of allowing more high-rise buildings. Well-planned high-rise buildings can alleviate the housing deficits we have in Nairobi. A case example is Incheon, South Korea below.Exactly, hapo utapata Sakaja amelishwa kakitu.
Eastleigh could be an exception. But the likes of Upper Hill and Westlands definitely will witness many tall buildings in the coming few yearsEastleigh can't have tall buildings because of the Air force barracks next to it.
Look at the photo below, the apartments in the foreground is what we used to build in the 2000s and early 2010s. The apartments in the background is what we've been building since mid 2010s. While the background apartments offer more units and bigger apartments, they are uglier. Imagine how beautiful a whole neighborhood like Kilimani would be if every apartment was like the ones in the foreground.Kweli, many developers have gone rogue and are building only for profits and do not care about quality of life.
