Beauty is subjective. Some people may find modern buildings with modern finishes to be appealing and dislike ancient buildings; while some people may find ancient buildings to be more aesthetically pleasing than the modern movement building. So saying blue modern buildings are beautiful is jumping into conclusions; that is according to you; not everyone.
I for instance find Gothic architecture, especially Gothic Cathedrals to be masterpieces of Architectural beauty. While you find it archaic, ugly, old fashioned. I'd be mad to say that everyone loves Gothic Cathedrals just because I love them. So if you think blue glass facade buildings are beautiful, that is according to you alone, do not generalize that everyone loves blue buildings.
Some people if had only one choice, will book a trip to Rome and not Shanghai, just to see the ancient architecture marvels; while others will prefer Shanghai over Rome for modern architecture marvels. So its unreasonable to claim people travel to cities to see blue buildings. A person may even go to Shanghai just to see the ancient Chinese pagodas and ancient Chinese housing styles and ignore all the tall city buildings. Therefore, saying that people are marvelled by tall "blue buildings" is subjective.
