But drag queen story hours aren’t exactly about teaching sex education to young children. These sessions are literally only about reading children’s storybooks. It’s only problematic when a drag queen does reads for children because society somehow believes drag queens are inherently pedophiles. But have you checked the statistics regarding how many children are abused by the Catholic Church every year? Or how the church does not seek any kind of justice for the child victims of sexual abuse? A guy who reads the scripture, wears a white robe, and tells you to repent can easily get away with abusing a child because society thinks he’s incapable of committing such a crime. But it is ingrained into our minds that drag queens, no matter how professional, kind, and compassionate they can be towards children, they are somehow the perpetrators and groomers. Do you realize your hypocrisy? Not to mention that factual evidence suggests that children are more likely to be abused in churches, not during drag queen story hours.

It really fascinates me how you don’t see that evil can be committed by any person, regardless of how they identify. However, in this case, instances of grooming and sexual abuse amongst children are heavily documented in the church.

priests are not the same as drag queens, but you still equate them with the LGBTQ community. You are a bigot who spreads falsehoods about a particular group. Generalizing a whole group and attaching a stereotype to it is incredibly dangerous. You are deliberately ignoring where the problem lies and diverting attention to the group that has always persecuted for simply existing. Here’s a little example of how pervasive child sexual abuse is in the French Catholic Church. Now imagine the global scale of these crimes and ask yourself why justice has not been given to the victims for so many years. (Hint: it’s because of people like you who ignore this fact).

I find it interesting when you juxtapose two completely unrelated things, like my support for Ukraine with my support for LGBTQ rights. Your anti-western views are completely irrelevant to this conversation because LGBTQ individuals are not synonymous with the western world. They are in every corner of this world. Although their experiences could seem monolithic, they are not the same. You think I’m a victim of media manipulation, but what about you? When and how do you know that you haven’t been affected by brainwashing and propaganda? You believe an entire group of people are groomers. Doesn’t that raise a lot of questions? Do you really believe that an entire group (in their millions) could be groomers? I know what I believe in is right and ethical because it is worthy to fight for another human being’s rights and well being. Ideally, the world should get better, and we cannot claim to get better if others are killed or jailed for simply expressing their true selves.

I am not a scientist, and I do not represent any scientific organizations, but what I do know is that modern medicine has saved millions and even billions of lives. If a new vaccine, which, by the way, was developed so quickly to counteract an unexpected outbreak caused side effects, but still saved millions, I do not see how this makes it a bad thing. Maybe more time is needed to develop something that could benefit everyone without causing severe side effects. But with all things considered, there are many drugs, which save lives and still cause side effects. Cancer treatments has side effects, some forms of surgery have side effects as well. Medicine entails a lot of compromising, so unless you want to die by waiting for something exceptional to come around, use what exists in the moment. Plus, if you’re uncomfortable using a certain drug or vaccine, simply don’t use it. But don’t impose bogus and misleading information about life saving treatments on others. It is crucial to inform them about the side effects, but don’t rule out the possibility the treatment is indeed effective.

Well now that you’ve mentioned about tamaduni, let’s talk about it. Kwasababu moja ya sababu kuu ya homophobia ni ukoloni. Before colonialism, jamii nyingi I’m the global south, same sex relations au fluid gender dynamics were commonplace. Pia kuna baadhi ya jamii hawa individuals walikuwa na respected roles in society. Tanzania pia kuna makabila yalikuwa yako-accept homosexuality. Lakini wakati wa ukoloni, sheria mpya zililetwa ku-criminalize homosexuality. Kumbuka pre-colonial societies viewed homosexuality with indifference and did not even criminalize it. Who do you think you are to dictate how other should live their lives? If you were to be affected by the same restrictions, would you be okay with it? What you’re insinuating is public expression of same-sex love or gender fluidity. I don’t think it’s a bad thing for children to understand that love isn’t something that only straight people have. Demanding equal rights means equal visibility. If children grow up knowing that gay people exists, there will be less hate and stigma. A lot of you are afraid of equality because you think children will be coerced to identify as LGBTQ+. However, I highly doubt it. Gay people grow up in a predominantly heteronormative world. But that doesn’t change who they truly are. Sexuality is innate and it takes time for someone to truly understand who they are and what they like sexually. But if society makes it clear that it is OK to be gay or to be bisexual or to be trans, we could easily eradicate hate and stigma.

But you do realize that people who use IVF or surrogacy aren’t necessarily gay right? You condemn those who seek alternative means to have children because you are ignorant. Some
women’s’ uterine walls cannot successfully function, so they seek alternative means like surrogacy to have kids. Some
Men have a low sperm count, so they seek alternative means like getting sperm from a donor (usually from sperm banks), or sometimes interpersonal relationships between people don’t allow for them to conceive naturally, so they seek other ways. You are not in any position to make choices for other people regarding their bodies.

Except such a scenario doesn’t exist. It’s a dubious concept that you made up to prove a stupid claim. I think you underestimate the term spectrum because bisexual people exist. They find both men and women attractive and so, they can have children. But they are a part of the LGBTQ community. As I said before, the decision to make children is private. No one should be forced to have children if they don’t want to. And there are many LGBTQ couples who happily adopt children. All you’re obsessed about is fucking, but do you ever think about the well being of children? As I mentioned in a previous post, many children today suffer in the hands of parents who know nothing about parenting. We let children down because of this “procreation” narrative. Do we think about their well-being? Churches abuse them but do we do anything to stop it? These aren’t rhetorical questions. They demand answers. Answers from people like you who think it’s okay to just make babies but forget that they will be human beings who will need unconditional love and care.
