Dont be stupid and swallow everything thrown at you by westerners. Africa needs fossil fuels more than ever in order to address existing energy deficiency before transiting to cleaner sources.
Cleaner Energies are expensive and the technology is high tech but efficiency is way to low to sustain massive energy needs of an energy hungry country.

Africa transition to cleaner energies should be delayed and its transition decoupled from the agreed global transition period.

Last time I checked the Middle East is not considered west….. fossil fuels are damaging our planet with serious pollution … that’s a fact… Kenya has a capacity of 10000 megawatts of geothermal energy…that’s enough to power us twice over… we are by far the best in Africa and number 5 in the world…we have wind power plants including the largest in Africa, also solar power plants with more on the pipeline….. it’s possible to make a Country 100% renewable… some have done it already…and we are on our way. and we don’t need outside help from China or Turkey😁….swallow your pride and ask us for help… we are gracious neighbors… we are playing our part of living this planet better for future generations…

More than 80% of Kenya's installed power capacity is green energy so I don't know what lies you are trying to peddle.
