In Kenya, only a quarter receives addequate rain to keep it green and forested all through the year and 80% of our population is concentrated in that small quarter. The South Western part of Kenya is naturally very green though - as green as anywhere can get. But here we are talking about city planning. You have to realize that no matter how much rainfall you get, you have to have good planning laws to have green cities. That's why West and Central African cities like Lagos, Kinshasa and Accra are not as green East African cities like Nairobi or Arusha yet they receive way more rainfall.
