Allow me to give a long response.
Yes violence is part of democratization amongst many other, which means its a process to attain the highest goal which is self actualization, for every Kenyan .When the majority of us feel the process was rigged, they will automatically feel disenfranchised and the only way is to take to the streets to face with the oppressor, the gov.
This years election, we are back to the office because most of us feel that the process was free, fair and verifiable. You can simply download Form 34s on IEBC portal. When RAO goes to supreme court again its an opportunity to have a clear path on issues which are still underlying.
On your end ,your system doesn't have basic Tenets of democracy. Its autocratic like that of China. So what the state says you will view it as your basic human right because you don't know any better. But when you shift your governance structure ,be rest assured you will go through the same process as any other capitalist country.
