Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

my simple question is,why all houses look the same?....can you show us a residential area where houses look different?.
I know you don't understand, it's only in modern cities. Other cities you build how you want.

So you prefer densely packed houses built following no order at all like these in Dar

Now in this picture, it's demonstrated how Kibera is shrinking day by day with new units of housing being added to replace the old slum buildings.
The cleared area in the centre of the picture was basically where old houses occupied(including the nice looking houses) and it's been cleared to pave way for construction of more housing units.
The slum upgrading program is on full gear.

Now it's not only housing units getting built but also schools, health centres (like the recently completed Kibera health centre at the bottom right of the picture if you zoom in. One with green roof) and basic resources like piped water, street lighting etc...

By the way, did the colonialists set master plans for our urban areas or towns by then? And if yes; why did we fail to cop up with the plans? And if no; why should we not want them to incur costs in replenishing our plans?

Because there's modern urban housing style in nairobi, just like in other modern western, European and a few African cities. What's the future of Dar when everything is everywhere, disorganised lol.
This is Las Vegas, Nevada USA
