Threshold is 140/90 hiyo ndio cut off.
And which number is more important between the upper and the lower reading.. i hear in the 1970s, 1980s and part of 1990s.. the lower reading was taken as more important, and thts where all clinical decisions were made.

but in the recent scientific research, it revealed tht the upper reading, ie. systolic is more important and thts where all clinical and pharmaceutical decision should be based on... it tht true.!?🤔

then why would our african nurses and doctors, and especially east african! still look on the lower reading(diastolic) more, yet scientific findings says otherwise tht the upper reading is the predictor of all cardiovascular events.. eg. stroke, heartattack, kidney and liver failures etc🤔
