That slum is full of Tanzanians and Ugandans. Tanzanians beg in the streets and Ugandans do household jobs in nearby estates. In a section of Majengo slums and shauri moyo Tanzanian of the chaga tribe outnumber Kenyans. The only slums where Kenyans are the majority is Kibera, and Mukuru slums.

Refer to the 2019 census. All of those slums have less than 150k people and Tanzanian beggers are the majority in Mathare and Majengo.

These Tanzanians call Zimmerman Estate a slum, yet its more than 10km from the CBD. I am sure 10 Kms from Dar CBD is chaotic, dirty, and disorganized.
Dar neighborhoods resemble kakamega.

Do you know only 1% of Tanzania's population can afford to put similar buildings and only 4% can afford rents in such an estate? The average cost of any of those apartments is Kshs. 100m (inclusive of land) and the average rent for a two bedroom is Kshs. 22,000 per month. Just check out google earth and see how strong those buildings are before throwing shade.
