DENVER - Last week, Republican John McCain didn't know how many homes he owns.

Tonight, Democrat Barack Obama didn't know what town he was in.

In a live satellite speech tonight to the Democratic National Convention in Denver from a home in Kansas City, Obama said: "I'm here with the Girardeau family here in St. Louis."



Then came a graphic across the television screen that said Obama was in Kansas City, Mo.

Then 7-year-old Sasha Obama asked: "Daddy, what city are you in?"

"I'm in Kansas City, sweetie," Obama said, correcting his earlier geographic reference.

Obama was at the home in Kansas City tonight to watch his wife Michelle's keynote address, according to his campaign.

Obama is hosting a town hall meeting on Tuesday at the American Airlines facility in Kansas City.

Barack Hussein most likely married Michelle for his own political ambition. He knew he would gain credibility among Black American voters if he had one of their own as a wife. Can you imagine if Barack Hussein had a White wife, given his African and White background? Do you think he would get 95% of Black American vote? No way! So the main reason I can think of as why Barack Hussein would marry a woman who looks like Chewbacca on Star Wars instead of a clueless naive White woman as his dad, is for political ambition.

McCain also didn't think much of the fact that Arizona statutes clearly forbade his campaign from holding a "campaign event." Arizona Revised Statue 15-511 is direct and to the point:

Whether it was the principal or Cindy McCain with her alma mater influence, Central High School was forbidden territory for McCain's campaigning.

Although it may seem like a minor issue, there was great wisdom in the Arizona Legislature adding that statute to the books. There is something very distasteful and questionable about using a high school and its students as props for political gain.

If any school was allowed to host politicians for campaign events, the Pandora's Box would never cease to empty. Any politician could demand the right to fly a banner at a football game or hand out buttons and bumperstickers in the cafeteria.

But McCain and his aides were oblivious to that. Even if they didn't know the law, the fact that they were holding a political event at a high school and using students as backdrops should have given them pause. It didn't because McCain would never pass up an opportunity to advance his political aspirations. Even if it meant violating the law

Let's give the McCain campaign a benefit of a doubt. My Spanish is pretty bad, let's ignore the imagery in the video, if we can, and check out the lyrics. Maybe it's just a nice song about motorcycles and cars and how they need gasoline.

Well, no, actually. Last night commenters here and elsewhere pointed out that it was actually a song about f---ing. Some pointed out that "Gasolina" is Puerto Rican street slang for "sperm," and the woman singing back up was demanding more "sperm" from Daddy Yankee. In the English lyrics excerpt below, the translator says "gata" is slang for "babe." But other commenters wrote in to me last night to tell me that it's the equivalent of an American slang word: "p***y."
