mmh... a sucker for court room thrillers.... Then definately Denzel's pelican brief (yupo na Julia Roberts) is your thing.... Naipenda saana... Au nayo pia you have watched? Hio Philadephia sikupenda saana.

Unfortunately,I first read the Pelican Brief novel before watching the movie itself so obviously I had the impression that it was too diluted compared to the novel.But it still remain a good movie(ofcourse any movies with Julia and Denzel can't be bad even if it were kanumba 's production!)

Halafu tofauti na filamu nyingine za kigangster, American Gangster haionyeshi transformation ya Washington from a street hustler to a real gangster. Heri hata kwenye filamu ya Malcolm X, inaonyesha jamaa alivyokuwa transformed from a street hustler to a leader.

American Gangster haina hata shoulder-shimmying swagger. Inawezekana labda ni kwa sababu ya kuwa na classic American Gangster story lakini kuna classic gangster movies ambazo zina swagger za nguvu.

BTW ulishawahi kumsikia the real Frank Lucas mwenyewe? Anadai he would do it all again. Snoopy anaitikia tuu "yes sir".

That is one of my all time films.
Tena ilimpa na Oscar.
Malcom X siyo mbaya pia.
But in American Gangster, he didn't seem to me as a gangster unless magangster wa miaka hiyo walikuwa vile.
