Knowledge and Information Management Officer - Developmental and Full Performance
Work Schedule:Full TimeSalary:$57,129 - $113,007Location:Washington, DC metropolitan area
CIA is seeking highly motivated individuals (developmental through full performance) who want to be part of the Information Management program supporting the needs of the world's premier intelligence organization and its partners. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing federal guidelines and records and knowledge management solutions including taxonomies, metadata management, electronic recordkeeping, and direct information management support to customers.
The incumbent will be assigned to a team responsible for a wide variety of tasks including: requirements development and analysis; information systems development; records management support; file plan development and implementation; automated categorization; leveraging legacy data; access controls; archives and preservation; and related marketing, training, and awareness activities.
Minimum requirements include a degree in Library Science (MLS/MIS), Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business. Candidates with Liberal Arts degrees (Political Science, History, etc.) may also apply. Candidates should also possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
A good understanding of Information Management (laws, regulations, practices, etc.) and information systems is highly desired.
