Kagame akatumia njia nyingine kurudi na ku-destabilize congo kwa kutumia hao mahasimu wao ili aendelee na shughuli za uchumi kama ilivyo kwa Museveni. Hata siku moja hawakubali uwepo wa vikosi vya UN kwasababu ni gharama kwa serikali zao (vita kati ya UN na wao)

Alichokisema JK ni ushauri na Rwanda ina haki ya kuukubali au kuukataa. Kukereka kwa Kagame kunatokana na chuki dhidi ya Tanzania ya kushiriki katika majeshi yanayopambana na interest zake.Kagame hapendi kuiona Congo tulivu.

Ukitaka kujua hana hoja ni pale anapotafuta habari za Mtikila ambaye ameshawahi kufungwa Tanzania kwa matamshi yake na kuihusisha na kauli za JK. Bila kujali motive ya JK au serikali reaction ya Kagame ni zaidi ya hapo.

Walijaribu zile operations mbili kwa kushirikiana na jeshil la Congo za Kimia II na Umoja Wetu lakini zote hazikufaulu. Nina marafiki both hutus and tutsis ambao tumesoma pamoja hapa bongo na sasa wengine wako Kigali lakini frankly speaking uovu wa Kagame na kagenge chake unafahamika na muungwana yeyote hawezi kumtetea.....!

Sometimes unapojaribu kujadili masuala ya amani ukanda wa maziwa makuu, basi kuna watu wahataki uguse utawala wa Rwanda. Tatizo la Rwanda sio raia wema, tatizo ni kigenge cha wahuni waliojificha nyuma ya pazia la utisho wa genocide. Mbona Burundi kuna watutsi pia na hakuna mtu mwenye matatizo na Burundi sasa? Mbona Burundi ina waasi kule Congo wa FNL lakini serikali ya Burundi haikuhaingaika kupinga kikosi cha 'intervention' cha UN? Sasa likija suala la Rwanda inakuwa nongwa...! Ukiwa Kigali ole wako uzungumzie habari za siasa, meku hata mwenyeji wako atakuomba unyamaze mzungumzie soka, lakini nimekuwa Burundi mara nyingi tu hali ni tofauti. Kuna siku nilikuwa stuck pale Bujumbura airport baada ya kushuka na ndege ya saa saba usiku na kukuta mwenyeji wangu hayupo, ikabidi nikae hapo nisiondoke kwa vile kuna abiria mwenzangu aliniusia kuwa kama sina prior arrangement na hoteli ni bora nibaki hapo mpaka asubuhi maana ni hatari kwa mida hiyo. Nilibaki peke yangu na watu wote waliondoka mpaka taa za ndani pale waiting hall zikazimwa. ..had it been about genocide, the western powers/"international community" would not have looked the other way while millions of Congolese ppl' were being slaughtered.

..remember in the late 90s SADC sent a combat force to stabilize Congo and prevent the then government frm being toppled by Rwanda and Uganda armies. Now, tell me what has changed btn now and then??

In 1994, the small East African state of Rwanda was torn by one of the century's most brutal waves of ethnic and political violence. In a three month period from April to June, the Rwandan Armed Forces (FAR), working with trained civilian militia, systematically massacred as many as 1 million of the country's 7.7 million people. The primary targets of the violence were members of the minority Tutsi ethnic group, who were chased from their homes, gathered in churches and other public buildings, ostensibly for their protection, then methodically murdered, first with grenades and guns, then with machetes and other traditional weapons. In the weeks that followed, death squads carefully hunted down and killed survivors of the large-scale massacres. While the exact portion of the Tutsi population killed in the genocide cannot be accurately determined, it seems fair to estimate that at least 80 percent of the Tutsi living in the country lost their lives.(1)

In the aftermath of this horrific bloodbath, Rwanda's Christian churches have faced extensive criticism. Many journalists, scholars, human rights activists, politicians, and even some church personnel have accused the churches not simply of failing effectively to oppose the genocide but of active complicity in the violence.(2) According to a report by a World Council of Churches team that visited Rwanda in August 1994, "In every conversation we had with the government and church people alike, the point was brought home to us that the church itself stands tainted, not by passive indifference, but by errors of commission as well."(3) My own research in Rwanda in 1992-93 and 1995-96 confirms these conclusions. According to my findings, church personnel and institutions were actively involved in the program of resistance to popular pressures for political reform that culminated in the 1994 genocide, and numerous priests, pastors, nuns, brothers, catechists, and Catholic and Protestant lay leaders supported, participated in, or helped to organize the killings.(4)
