[h=3]MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to make a £10million summer bid for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.[/h]Boss Alex Ferguson checked out the Kenyan, 21, on Tuesday night when he scored in a 4-0 win over Dundee United.

The Red Devils have watched him in every Champions League game this season, including the 2-1 home win over Barcelona in which Wanyama scored.
The 6ft 2in star is a strong defensive midfielder who can also play at centre-back.
Ferguson needs midfielders this summer with Paul Scholes, 38, and Ryan Giggs, 39, set to retire.
United face competition from Arsenal with Arsene Wenger believing Wanyama is the man to beef up their team.
But Celtic chief Neil Lennon wants to keep a player he bought from Belgian side Beerschot in 2011 for £900,000.

WISH COME TRUE ... Wilfried Zaha

[h=3]WILFRIED ZAHA is set to complete his £12million move to Manchester United.[/h]The Crystal Palace starlet will hold contract talks and undergo a medical with the Premier League leaders in the next 48 hours.
He is expected to be loaned back to Selhurst Park for the rest of the season.

[h=2]Palace confirm Zaha to join United[/h] Crystal Palace have confirmed that Wilfried Zaha will join Manchester United in the summer, ending weeks of speculation about the player's future.

FEDERICO MACHEDA has joined Stuttgart on loan for the remainder of the season.

Manchester United player to watch - Javier Hernandez.
Having been an unused substitute in the Premier League draw with Tottenham, Chicharito can be expected to feature against Fulham. Robin van Persie's sparkling form has left Hernandez battling for game time this season, but his record of eight goals from 14 starts is an envious one that shows he should not merely regarded as an impact player from the bench. His predatory instinct has certainly come to the fore in Cup competitions during his United career; Hernandez has previously netted decisive goals in Champions League games against Valencia, Marseille and Braga, while his two strikes against Ajax sealed Europa League progress last season and he bagged the winner on his first ever FA Cup appearance - at Southampton in 2011.

Fulham player to watch - Dimitar Berbatov.

The Bulgarian arrived at Craven Cottage from United in August to much fanfare, having won the Premier League Golden Boot only 15 months earlier. Five goals in his first seven games seemed to justify Martin Jol's claim that Berbatov was "the biggest signing in the history of Fulham" but he has added just two goals since November. A meeting with his former club will be a major incentive for Berbatov, who scored in this fixture in three successive seasons as United comfortably beat Fulham each time. Despite being out of form, the silky striker's old team-mates recognise the threat he possesses, with Phil Jones saying this week: "It'll be great to see Berba back at Old Trafford, technically he's a fantastic player."

Sir Alex Ferguson is still without midfielder Darren Fletcher (bowel surgery), while Jonny Evans (hamstring) and Ashley Young (knee) will not be involved. In defense, Rio Ferdinand could feature, although Ferguson may take the opportunity to rest one of his regular central defenders with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling returning to fitness.

The hosts may also look to rest goalkeeper David De Gea after an extended run of league games for the Spaniard, while Ferguson also has the options of using Danny Welbeck, Chicharito and Shinji Kagawa in attacking roles.

The visitors, meanwhile, will be without Simon Davies (neck) and Kerim Frei (groin) while Mahamadou Diarra is not expected to be fit for another week. Martin Jol can, however, boast numerous attacking options as winger Ashkan Dejagah and strikers Mladen Petric and Hugo Rodallega are also in contention.

Kieran Richardson is likely to continue at left back, although Jol can alternatively choose to restore the out-of-favor John Arne Riise to the starting lineup.
