John Terry has hailed Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho as the “best manager”.
The former England defender worked under Mourinho during two spells at Stamford Bridge and won three Premier League titles.
Mourinho helped to transform Chelsea into a Premier League powerhouse following his first appointment in 2004.
Terry established himself as one of Europe’s best centre-halves in Mourinho’s Chelsea team before his departure in 2007.

Mourinho returned to Chelsea following spells at Inter Milan and Real Madrid in 2013.
The Portuguese coach won his third Premier League title with Terry as his captain before the 54-year-old’s dismissal in December 2015.
Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor in 2016 and won the Europa League and the League Cup in his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
Former Chelsea captain Terry opened up about the current Manchester United boss.
“He was the best manager, and the best coach as well,” Terry told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports . “He did everything.
“He was the first one to come and revolutionise it at Chelsea.
“He would be the first in, 8am, he’d be the one setting the cones out, and you’d come in as players and he’d be out there, if it was pouring with rain, getting his session organised.”
