Global Reds await clash
Sunday's clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium is a huge fixture one that could prove pivotal in this seasons title race and just under 3,000 United fans have been lucky enough to get hold of tickets in the away end.
Of course, plenty more will be watching the action unfold on television screens around the world, from Manchester to Melbourne, from Salford to Shanghai. To acknowledge this, we asked you - our ManUtd.com readers - to tell us how you plan to follow the big game.
We had a great response on
Talking Reds - here's a selection, see the
special thread on the message board to read more and add your own...

"Living in Perth, West Australia, I am 62 and have been an avid supporter all my life (ask Sir Bobby if he remembers kids on push bikes at The Cliff in the late 50s / early 60s, I got a pat on the head by the man himself). I have not missed a game this season, as a troglodyte supporter destined to be an insomniac. I plan to watch the match alone at home, and then go straight to work it being Monday morning. Hope the Reds make my day. Thanks for all the memories, Longarm."
Moses Okello
"I'm an ardent United supporter in Uganda. Apparently we have bought a goat to be slaughtered, roasted and shared by United and Arsenal supporters after the match on Sunday. As usual we shall be watching the game with rival supporters in Kampala, the Ugandan capital. We enjoy watching the match with friends who support Arsenal because it makes it more lively. After thrashing them, they do not become irate and we remain buddies

"My brother and I will be shouting away at the TV here in Fayetteville, Arkansas, US, in the Ozark mountains. We've had floods and tornados this week, but the weekend is for watching the boys outplay Arsenal yet again. But we have no goat - we should have thought of roasting a goat!"
Martin S
"I had to go to the States (Florida) on business last Sunday and I'm still here. I'll be up in time to watch the match live on Fox TV. Come on United!"
Timor Man
"My name is Laz and I come from Timor. I predict that we are going to win the double again this year. This is why: I watched the 2007/08 Community Shield in a sports bar in Bali, Indonesia and United won both competitions in that season. This season I watched the Shield again at the same place and things look promising so far. I am currently vacationing in Bali again and I will be watching the game at the same bar, sharing the same hope that United will win the match and kick Arsenal out of the title race."
Y. Nir
"I'm from Israel, but I've lived all over the world and have supported United from Thailand, Nepal, Vietnam, Cameroon, Israel, and now China, where I lose a lot of sleep to watch the games every week."
Eashan Shetty
"I am a United fan from India and I will be watching the match in my home which is in Mumbai. I know that we will beat Arsenal and Chelsea and the title will be ours once again. I salute

"Greetings from Colombia. I'll wake up early, buy a couple of beers and some eggs for breakfast. Then I'll make breakfast for my family while I watch the game and every time United score, there'll be eggs and sausages flying all over the house! My kids love it every time I celebrate a goal."
James Odera
"I'll be catching the action from the Galaxy Sports Bar at Club Galileos in Westlands, a suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. Currently London is two hours behind Nairobi so it's pretty good in terms of timing for me (16:05). I hope we hit Arsenal for the traditional Emirates scoreline of 3-1. Cheers guys!"
Steel City Red Devil
"I'll be watching here in Pittsburgh, the Steel City, where I've been a United fan since 1977. I got use to getting up early and listening to the games via shortwave radio in the pre-computer days. I'd be able to see the Reds on TV maybe four times a year back then, now I can watch weekly."

"
What a superb thread - I have read every post from start to finish, and try to form a picture in my mind of people all over the world, all watching in different locations at different times. We are United Season Ticket holders living in London - we could be at the Emirates in under and hour - but we do not get away tickets. So near but yet so far! To all our friends all over the world... enjoy!"
