Yesterday was Luke Shaw's best performance in a United jersey, so far. That is something, when you consider he's been away for six weeks - and the fact that he came took over Daley Blind's position, in which Blind has excelled.
3 days after giving himself a C- performance, for his first season at United, it's encouraging to see how much he's improved and how much better he wants to get. Part of his performance was aided in the 4 defence man, unlike his previously, when he was playing in a 3-5-2 system.
"Luke Shaw, we take that C- and turn it into a A, because you did very well against Chelsea... and you seem to have improved in your absence."
Part of the reason why this is great news is because Shaw's growing into his role is not only great for the rest of the season and in case of injuries... but you can only expect that, just like the other players, he'll continue to grow into the next season.

Manchester United lost to Chelsea 1 nil last night and it was devastating... here are 10 things we learned:
1. When we played like that,despite losing, we played very well and I thought - we will be great next season. And even better in Europe. Mark my words.
2. Luke Shaw, despite being out of the team for 6 weeks is great on left back.
3. Paddy McNair has gotten better even while being away.
4. Chelsea knew how to defend Fellaini - he was barely able to get the second ball - but anyway, it was still tough.
5. Rooney's passes in the midfield and ball distribution are second to none.
6. Rooney should have also scored. Those misses.....aaaaaaaaargh.
7. We miss Carrick. We miss Blind!
8. Di Maria should have come in earlier than he did. When he came in the second half, he brought the ball behind the strong Chelsea defence and there was more action on the box - he also kept his position and defended. That was something else.
9. Sometimes you need the ref to be on your side. He wasn't.
10. Chelsea will be champions, but we shall beat them next time because... we really, really played well - even with an injury crisis.
10.1. Because of superstitions, Admin will not attend other Chevrolet events in Nakuru. Everything just felt wrong. No internet, could not post pictures, could not post when we wanted to... Does this make me crazy of just a fanatic?
10.2. I think Falcao was supposed to score a goal - he did did everything except do his job to score. His fate must be sealed now, surely.
10.3. We complained about Smalling... He seemed unsure and was often caught with the ball. He had a bad day yesterday.
10.4. Januzaj still takes too long with the ball and seemed out of his depth from the moment he came on. Mistake Subbing Mata.
10.5 Tyler Blackett is not a replacement for Luke Shaw.... He seems to have forgotten? Mistake Subbing both Shaw and Young - LvG Should have subbed one and kept Di Maria upfront.
