Michael Edwards persuaded Liverpool’s owners to break the British transfer record for Alexander Isak, believing they should sign the best No.9 available rather than seek a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Edwards felt it was impossible to find another wide forward as good as Salah and that a centre-forward was the safest bet for goals.

Liverpool had no doubts about Isak’s quality. The concern was whether he could settle and adapt to being less involved in play while still being expected to score heavily.

🚨Alan shearer on Timber pulling Isak in the penalty box.

🗣️“It’s absolutely ridiculous that the VAR watch this and still chose to let it go, that’s one the worst thing to see from the game today, every decision looks to be against Liverpool in the game.”

“You could see that the second half was absolutely terrible because of the referee’s decision, Arsenal won it to the referee decision.” “Liverpool wouldn’t have lose this game if the referee wasn’t bias, and it’s a shame to the premier league at this point because everyone knows what the result could’ve been in the end.”

Man City kipigo Anfield

Arsenal kipigo Anfield

Kwenye mpira hakuna anaupiga mwingi bali kuna kushinda mechi.

Hivyo ili ufanikiwe ni lazima uwafunge washindani wako sio kuonea vibonde tu na wale wakubwa waliojifia.

Lipo tatizo aisee.

• Witz
• Barcola
• Isack

Wote hawa tumepigwa kwa ujinga uliopo pale Liverpool
