Real Madrid have been linked with Mo Salah in the past, but it's Sadio Mane who is interesting new (and old) manager Zinedine Zidane according to France Football.

The outlet states Mane was a target for Zidane before he resigned from the Bernabeu last summer, and following his return he has re-ignited his interest.

BENFICA REBUFF LIVERPOOL FERRO BID

Liverpool have had a bid turned down for Benfica youngster Ferro, according to The Mirror.

The 21-year-old made his debut for the club last month and has gone on to make nine appearances for the club, scoring three times from centre-back in that time.

EUPHORIA' AT COUTINHO SALE

There were embraces and "euphoria" at Liverpool when Philippe Coutinho was sold for a British record transfer fee to Barcelona last year, according to a report in Spanish newspaper Sport.

The report claims the Anfield heirarchy celebrated as they did not believe the midfielder, who has struggled to make an impression at Barca, fitted into Jurgen Klopp's high-press style.

VAN DIJK EXTENSION

Virgil van Dijk is heading for a bumper new contract at Liverpool as the club look to quash any interest at all from Barcelona and Real Madrid, reports the Daily Star.

The Dutchman is among the favourites to pick up the Premier league player of the year award.

nadhani hawa Real ni vigeugeu leo utasikia hili kesho lile, ukweli ni kwamba Zizo kurejea pale lazima atapewa mkwaja asuke upya kikosi kile, sasa kama ni kweli alimhitaji Mane kipindi cha nyuma basi sitoshangaa akileta ofa Juni...

uzuri ni Klopp amedai hana mpango wa kuuza kwa sasa wachezaji muhimu na ndio wamepewa mikataba mirefu ili kuwabakisha klabuni...

Zidane likes Mane..

But can see them going hard on Hazard. He’s more marketable than Mane.

And i think, Mane will be hated by madrid fans, suala lake la kutokuwa na consistency litamgharimu sana kule, si unaona jinsi madrid fans wanavyo-mtreat Bale, unaweza ukadhani hakuwafungia decisive 2 goals kwenye CL final last season. he should stay katika club ambayo anakuwa more appriciated more.

But, kama madrid watakuwa serious na ku-test kina cha maji kwa £100m, FSG may agree to sit down with them.
